I find it hilarious that a communist country cracks down on Muslims in its own borders but the western "communists" unironically support Hamas for some reason. Well I got into it with someone regarding the situation, literally all I did was point out that it's been going on at least as early as 1948, and joked that the last Israeli and Palestinian will suicide bomb each other out of existence someday.

Some of the first armed responders to the attack in the south were directed via the WhatsApp groups they had been using to organize protests. If people are interested I can post more examples.

I heard that some major US cities are setting up more police patrols in Jewish and Muslim areas of town because of the possibility of happenings. Dearborn Michigan especially because it has one of the largest Muslim populations in the country.

Can confirm. As I’ve posted about before, I live in a heavily Jewish suburb and my mother works in a Jewish preschool. Our local Jew facilities already had pretty stellar security safeguards in place but they have stepped it up tenfold over the last two weeks. Some info on how it all works if anybody’s actually interested:

Safeguards already in place:
There is a specific security program solely dedicated to defending Jewish facilities. So all of the temples/JCCs/Jewish schools in our area do not employ regular school security guards or run-of-the-mill mall cops, they only hire from this Jewish security program. Guards in this program have to pass detailed background checks and must have extensive experience defending people in life-or-death situations. Typically they are former military with combat experience or former secret service guards (most the ones I’ve met here have actually worked for US presidents and other high-ranking government officials). The guards are all armed at all times. They receive six figure salaries - much more than any other school security guard would ever be paid - mainly because the threat is so much larger and they are expected to literally give their lives for the people inside.
The program also claims to have “intel analysts” who provide them the earliest possible intelligence alerts on upcoming attack plots, and they run their own 24 hour tip line that the public can call into if they see or hear anything suspicious relating to Jewish facilities.
Their experts perform “Threat and Vulnerability Risk Assessments” on every facility that uses them. They determine the amount of security guards each place needs with a risk scale rating based on neighborhood demographics, distance from the closest police depts/hospitals, the amount of windows and doors, and a variety of other factors. Generally every facility has a minimum of two of these armed men on the grounds, but I know of some particularly large or extra careful facilities that will have one at every single entrance.
This guard program hosts multiple staff in-service days at every facility where they train them in Emergency Operations Planning. The staff are taught everything from basic school safety type protocol (I.e where the alarm buttons are, what different loudspeaker code words mean, where the best places to hide the children are) to pretty dark worst-case-scenario shit like how to help treat bullet wounds until EMS arrives, how to do CPR/chest compressions, and instructions on how if the terrorist does make it into the room somehow, they should throw everything they’ve got at them from the staplers to the trash cans to the fire extinguisher.
Additionally, many Jewish places have defensively designed architecture and are specifically built in ways to deter and prevent attacks. Our local JCC has huge sturdy pillars every several feet in the area around the entrances just to prevent attackers from being able to drive vehicles into the building.

Current security upgrades:
Over the last two weeks (especially on that dumb “global jihad day”), the Jewish security program has been bringing in more guards from neighboring communities who have less Jewish facilities which = less risk. They’re also in the process of hiring and training more men so they can expand their force.
Local law enforcement has also stepped in due to the current tension. Police vehicles (both marked and unmarked) are now constantly patrolling all of our heavily Jewish areas looking for suspicious activity. In some cases marked cars are parking directly outside of Jewish facilities as an added deterrent. There is a lot of this at the preschool my mother works at because it is attached to a synagogue and on a block with two other synagogues and a huge Jewish Community Center. Local police dept has actually held meetings with the Jewish security force guys from all of these buildings to inform them of the unmarked cars that will be patrolling the block all week (just to ensure the guards know it’s them on duty and are not some kind of threat casing the place).
And even the local public schools are jumping into lockdowns left and right over any perceived threat or concern, just to be in the safe side.

Before you ask: No, the security force does not have Jewish Space Lasers. I was disappointed by this news as well.

The pro-Palestinian messages have been weird since you have many that have even denounced the Abraham accords, the agreement about trying to make peace between Israel and Arab nations. It doesn't seem to occur to them that they're advocating for a more war torn Middle East.

I don't imagine they're really thinking any of this through, they just view Jews as white and that means bad to them.

Doesn't help that we've had a couple decades now of the media (often funded by foreign powers) trying to teach people to not dare view Muslims as a threat under any circumstances.
