2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

It's only a war crime if you lose. Also, they don't know just how intricate the tunnel system is, so building a pipeline or figuring out how to connect their sewer system to the tunnel network is a better choice than to send any men into those tunnels to root them out.
Israel doesn't want to win, they just want to fight. If they win it just makes it harder for them to grift.

So the lights on this restaurant in France malfunctioned and lit up as Hamas Tacos without the C, Now it's threatened with closure. source
I wonder how Chitler's Schnitzel is doing.

Egypt has done this, it's a war crime I think and the tunnels Israel is concerned about arent close enough to the sea to be flooded.
not sure if its a warcrime, but this youtube video gives a pretty good overview of it.

Seems like its a possibility for Israel, its obvious no one in the west cares about their war crimes anyways.

Not too versed on war crime law, but flooding tunnels that have known enemy combatants and known enemy supply caches seems acceptable.

If they were using chemical or biological weapons to flush them out, maybe, but just water? Go for it.

The main issue seems to be the logistics of the thing. It takes a LOT of water to really flood a tunnel network.

Maybe the plumbers in here can explain this to me, but why not build water pumps from the Atlantic Ocean and connect them into discovered tunnel entrances? It'll either flood the tunnel network with unusable salt water or get into enough of the ground to turn it into sinkholes that'll collapse the buildings on top of it.
that would be very high effort and take a long time to set up.
also nobody knows if the tunnels are all connected together. might be that they have dozens of tunnel networks that are not connected to the others, so flooding one of them won't do anything to the others.
and finally, dumping huge amounts of salt water into the ground might have all kinds of unpredictable consequences later down the line. i'm no geologist but it can't be good for the natural groundwater there, might lead to erosion, sinkholes forming and buildings collapsing above the flooded tunnels, that kind of shit.

Has this diabolical filth been posted yet? If so, I apologize. If not, here you go.
Please be warned. Heartbreaking footage.
What’s up with the geriatric fuck hobbling in on crutches around the 2:30 mark? Did Hamas really send somebody’s crippled poppop out to the frontlines of the race war? lmao

>implying secularized leftist Jews represent Israeli or orthodox Jewish interests in any way

Leftist American Jews and religious/Israeli jews are completely different. Israelis are not interested in this stuff.
Yeah, this. I live in a very Jewish community in the US and I avoid the secular and reform Jews like the plague. The older ones are all libbed out DNC shill cat ladies who sperg about guns and trump all day and the younger ones are all blue-haired BLM-simping far leftists with neopronouns. But the Orthodox Jews and Israeli Jews we have around? Actually surprisingly based and almost all right wing - stats actually show that over 83% of American Orthodox Jews voted Trump in 2020. All big on traditional family values and very disgusted by degeneracy. They typically save themselves for marriage, wed fairly young, have lots of babies, homeschool their kids or put them in religious private school to keep them away from public school indoctrination, seem to be hard workers, and generally just mind their own business and leave everyone alone. While a lot of secular/reform Jews seem to have a desire to subvert, control, and change society, these orthodox/Israeli ones basically just want to get the fuck away from society, raise their kids and practice their religion how they want to without harming anyone else, and just keep to themselves. I have never met one with a made up gender, an onlyfans account, kids out of wedlock, multiple babydaddies, a strong desire for diversity/multiculturalism, etc. I’ve found them to be great neighbors and I’ve liked every one that I’ve met. Sucks that they get a bad rap just because the reform/seculars are so fucking loud, pervasive, and annoying.

I'm just wondering if this guy will stop bringing in Palestinians once his in laws have secured safety.

@Random Internet Person Luckily immigration and asylum are entirely reserved for the UK parliament. If it were up to the SNP and their ilk then every single future terrorist/rapist ethnic with a pitty story would be let in. They'd literally do to Scotland what the Irish are currently doing.

How dk
Haredim are not interested in publicizing what they are doing and view rallies as useless because they cannot affect what is going on. Instead they are focusing on immediate aid such as donating supplies to reservist soldiers and donating money to Israeli causes like Magen David Adom, the Israeli red cross. I know of a case where Israeli American reservists were stuck in JFK because they couldn't afford tickets back and a Haredi man showed up with a credit card that had a half million dollar credit limit to pay for 250 tickets to Israel.

Here is the latest general request list from front line soldiers:

-Black Duct Tape (Gorilla Brand Preferred)
- ParaCord
- General First Aid Kit
- Foot Care Items
- IFAK
- CamelBack Hydration Pack
- Electrolyte Packs
- MultiTool
- AR15/M4 Armors MultiTool and cleaning Kit
- Protein Bars

There's also prayers for the hostages and for the people murdered in the attack.

How do people send what they need?

Some more German news:
- Reported that KSK units (German army special forces) deployed to Cyprus. Probably in case there is some funny shit going on in German consulates and embassies in the region (especially Lebanon).

- The Luftlandbrigade 1 (pretty much the core of the German paratroopers and usually responsible for the more "robust" fast paced evacuations operations) has been put on alert with all soldiers being called back to duty. The Bundeswehr is obviously preparing in case they have to evacuate German nationals in Lebanon. (There's already a military operation ongoing in Israel but it has, so far, no combat/security component)

- Germany approved the delievery of medical equipment to the IDF. The package includes medical material worth 200.000€. It's also reported that the Israeli government insisted on paying for it (extremly unjewish I can not condone)

Edit: The German government is now also officially asking German nationals to leave Lebanon. Source (German)
Edit (20.10.2023): German ministry of Defence confirmed that they are putting some units (the ones that took part in the Sudan operation, so mainly Luftlandbrigade 1) on high alert for possible evacuation operations in a short press release:
Get to the commercial plane

Sending in soldiers into unmapped tunnels is more effort and fucks Israel's attrition rate more.

They don't serve right now but attitudes are changing, esp after this attack. 8k haredim signed up to the IDF recently which is huge.
The haredi upbringing leaves them mentally broken. They're scared to tie their shoes without asking a rabbi the correct way to do it. Secular education for boys typically ends in the 6th grade. Haredim enlisting in the IDF go into special units which are basically adult daycare because the million and one religious taboos they adhere to make them unable to do any military work except for stuff like peeling potatoes (as long as they're glatt kosher). Many can't speak Hebrew or English, only Yiddish, which doesn't help. They will be the majority in Israel in a couple more generations and able to elect governments with their votes alone. That's the danger to the country that no one talks about.

Israelis of my acquaintance in and around Tel Aviv are spooked today, by a bunch of Muslims walking around taking photos of neighborhoods and houses in Israeli residential areas. They don't know whether it's just done to intimidate or if there's genuine recon going on in anticipation of later attacks.
Sowing fear this way is a highly effective tactic. People were saying the Arabs in Israel making threats like "we will attack in 24 hours" were dumb because they gave the IDF time to prepare, but it makes more sense that they weren't actually planning to do it. Rather, the plan is to make many feints to fray the defenders' nerves.

How do people send what they need?
Any way you can imagine. A lot of it is via community WhatsApp groups, Facebook pages, or even email lists. Here's an example I picked at random - there are too many to count (Ma'alot Dafna is a heavily Anglo Haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem):
media_F8kyDyrWAAAw_Hs.jpg
There's also a gorillion different organizations that have been pouring all of their resources into it. This is just one post I saw today asking for volunteers for a unified effort - the majority of the organizations listed are Haredi or religious charities. There are businesses and even the Israel Bar Association, too.

Left-wing Israelis have been doing much the same with the anti-judicial reform organizations they've built over the past year. Some of the first armed responders to the attack in the south were directed via the WhatsApp groups they had been using to organize protests. If people are interested I can post more examples.
