Monsieur Z actually made an interesting video comparing modern US to Austria-Hungary over a hundred years ago.
I don't necessarily think the AmeriKKKan Empyre will collapse tomorrow or anything, but there are too many conflicting interests for the current system to endure over a period of time.

Conjecture, and it'd be pretty much impossible to really prove much short of satellite video happening to track specific cargo. Russia's got it a bit easy mode when it comes to supporting foreign entities, having decades of absurd stockpiles and the easy excuse to have 'lost' some of it back when the USSR collapsed to a criminal group fleecing a warehouse in the confusion.

I consider it unlikely that Russia as a state really did anything to support this, but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the equipment, particularly rockets, were Russian by proxy Oligarch or the like.

I kinda doubt it, the Middle East is full of stuff like that from decades of outsiders supporting various factions, everyone backed Iraq against Iran for years once and nothing changed except a million dead. I predict a similar outcome with the Russo-Ukrainian War, as neither side happens to be military geniuses in this scenario.
