The bullshit term is an unneeded term. They already have their identifier, we don’t need one to help distinguish us. Having our anatomy made into a joke of degrading terms, and our spaces invaded, is apparently a privilege we didn’t know we had. When you treat them in a way that doesn't center them, such as by asking for their pronouns or by using the "cis" designation, some of them feel threatened and uncomfortable about losing that privilege.
They can’t help but tell on themselves. We don’t have meltdowns every time we speak to a human in the real world. We dislike having our fucking pronouns asked because they are irrelevant in most settings. Its uncomfortable because we don’t have your delusional identity crisis and want no part of it.
