Not only is rapprochement not in their vocabulary nor their wheelhouse, but they assume everyone thinks like them (and/or are just inherently, chronically, terminally suspicious and incapable of behaving too lazy to behave in any other way). They "discuss" by attempting to lay cheap gotchas rather than occasionally shutting the fuck up about things they know nothing about. They will outright say you're a liar when you attempt any level of good-faith discussion or debate. Their interest is in creating red herrings and setting up strawmen, deliberately or idiotically misconstruing comments, injecting every interaction with chest-thumping and bile, and presumptively declaring "victory" even when it was not, and did not need to be, a win-lose situation. Those malcontents prevent a potentially interesting and possibly even edifying discussion. ...That said, presumptively treating every dissenting voice in the same way as the malicious blockheads also ruins the opportunity, and it, too, derails any actual on-point discussion.

Tl; dr: assholes aside, continuing to carp about ill-intentioned disruptors, and acting like the Joan of Arc no one asked for isn't improving the thread.

Not big on smiling but my abs are flawless and I have a 12% body fat, as I run nearly every day.
I'm actually getting along great with my coworkers, but our interactions are largely professional, most of them talk all the time about how to make more money, their evil husbands, the troubles of building a new holiday villa, cars and home shit being expensive etc. and I couldn't care less about most of it
