The main thing was he didn't seem to enjoy it, winning or losing heh. He seemed like a nice enough guy though.
It’s actually an incredibly common phenomenon with gambling addicts. I’ve seen people hit $20k on a video slot and it didn’t even cause a pause their button pushing rhythm.

BMJ’s crazy emotive reaction sets him apart from most gambling addicts. Usually the biggest emotion you see is rage or depression when they have no more money to gamble with. Go sit and watch people playing video slots anywhere for thirty minutes, zombies.

Gambling addicts seem to be in an almost tranquilized state while gambling. It’s the normies who usually get all excited and emotional when gambling. Table games at least force a bit of social interaction so you know they aren’t hypnotized.

(This doesn’t apply to degenerate sports book gamblers, they are a separate breed.)

He' s live now, just lost $4k or so. He reminds me of the Albert Brooks old movie Lost in America and how his wife was. I recommend the movie, but if you want the best scene:

"1 last one" is a funny meme, but when you see him do 3 separate $322 Keno bet sizes in a row? its even funnier, but is also truly horrifying to watch
i think its because when i see his balance i see a car, a new PC, a shitty house deposit or the first few months rent, a vacation, a console, a phone
when he see's it, all he see's is Keno, which is great, but this guy is so fucked
As someone else said, that's because you see it as Bossman's money. It's not BMJ's money; there was no world where he could have simultaneously won such a large amount through truly reckless gambling and then done the reasonable thing and quit, just like there is no world where Nikocado Avocado could've been a famous YouTuber without becoming horrifically disgusting and fat. Him winning and him losing are the result of the exact same addiction and the exact same behaviours.

So, it was never BMJ's money, it was always the casino's money... they just let him hit the 1 in 10,000 win streak he was due for eventually, to keep him hooked.
Up to 48k, now doing 2k spins. Im sweating on his behalf. Top notch, absolutely premium entertainment. I can never watch a boring faggot like DSP ever again.
No kiddin', those are some big boy bets, even for one of those self-made entrepreneur-types who regularly hit up Vegas. It's not like "high roller" status, but the casinos are paying attention at those bet sizes and you can expect to be approached by someone who wants to give you something for free in under 10 minutes from starting

The sad thing is, if he was making these bets at an actual off-strip casino, he'd be rolling in free rooms, complimentary lobsters, girls, coke, tickets to see whatever aging punk band he wanted to... legend has it that the hotel rooms in Vegas even have luxurious features that Austin can only dream of, such as "a door"!

Question: what's the IRS' latest ruling on crypto and like-kind transactions? Does trading crypto for stake coin or vice-versa trigger taxes? How about crypto to crypto?

He could have bought a fleet of 96' honda civics if just cashed out. I just wanted to see bmj in a beat up old civic with seat covers, tinted windows, chrome (plastic) hub caps he bought from the car wash, streaming going on a road trip to fish. It was right there in the palm of his hands.

Yes to both.

IRS said:
Taxable income, gain or loss may result from transactions including, but not limited to:
  • Sale of a digital asset for fiat
  • Exchange of a digital asset for property, goods, or services
  • Exchange or trade of one digital asset for another digital asset
  • Receipt of a digital asset as payment for goods or services
  • Receipt of a new digital asset as a result of a hard fork
  • Receipt of a new digital asset as a result of mining or staking activities
  • Receipt of a digital asset as a result of an airdrop
  • Any other disposition of a financial interest in a digital asset

He's back live again and this is going on. Didn't get a screenshot because it was fast. Some chat pastes here. I can't understand how you can go through $300k for even one day. Is it possible there's some loan sharks that'll get to him before suicide/drugs? Ninja'd, but I still want to know how this is possible.

slapandfap: today
slapandfap: 373k
Bigoleazz: wtf 😆 over 500k for the week

OnJii: Holy fuck!
VelKarryJack: Bro 373k in a day what in the fuckery

that can’t mean that’s how much he put in but how much he’s played so how much of that is recycling the same amount of money - if you bet $1 100,000 times and win half the time and lose the other half and wind up with a dollar you didn’t put in $100,000

Yeah, I figure that includes the churn in/out but at his highest he was at $50k or so, and keeps riding down to 0. Endlessly. He's losing another grand or so right now.

ETA it's so hilarious how he wins on the lowest bets and loses all the big ones. How many times can you do that Hahahahah

And I feel bad enough laying around reading this whole thread, I'm as hooked as he is. He's easily the best new cow I've seen, maybe since my sign up here.
