Arabs (especially around the Levant) can be quite a diverse looking group of people. Prime example would be Ahed Tamimi, a West Bank Palestinian girl who got famous for slapping an IDF officer in the face after the IDF shot her brother in the head with a rubber bullet at a protest against an Israeli settlement expansion - you wouldn't necessarily guess at a glance she was Arab/Palestinian

In war, you do what it takes to win, and you repent after.

That doesn’t necessarily mean that ‘what it takes’ has to be the most horrifying atrocity known to man, however, but it certainly is possible.

If you want to be a saint, don’t get into the war in the first place.

Thinking about it, there is a solution to this war and retaining the Rules Based International Order, but it requires so many implausible elements that it can't be done anyways.

1) Unironic God Emperor Trump-For those who remember how he talked down North Korea, he basically met Kim Jong Un's missile threat with a missile threat of his own. It got him to back down and allow for some diplomatic gains. Gains that would have mattered if it weren't for the Democrats installing Biden. What we can infer from Trump's negotiating style is that he will match a threat with a threat of his own while also offering backdoor channels for negotiations. Therefore, I suspect that Trump--being far more pro-Israel than any Leftist--would issue Hamas a nuke or MOAB kind of threat while also offering a channel to open negotiations in some neutral-ish place like Dubai. If Hamas declines, then he can back Israel fully and Iran will have to consider whether it is worth personally interfering to save a totally disposable pawn like Hamas.

The reason why it has to be Trump in particular is because he actually represents the American Right and can get them to support another war in the Middle East. No one else in office is capable of doing so.

2) Jew MSM issues the biggest fucking Mea Culpa ever. MSM has to issue the biggest series of retractions on Trump and admit they were engaged in a massive smear campaign against the Right. The reason why they have to do this is that they need a new base of support if they want to jettison the Woke Left. We see them attempt to cancel culture their Woke employees and it's had limited success because it's a case of the Left eating their own. I don't care other than it does definitively prove the Jewish Cabal that runs American media companies. They can't suppress the Left on their own and thus need to find new rank-and-file to aid in a doxxing campaign against the Palestinians. If they work with Trump, that doxxing campaign can turn into domestic terrorist profiling, one Trump can use to expunge his enemies too.

3) America orders Zelensky to sign a document of surrender or else. The Russia-Ukraine war needs to end; the US just doesn't have the logistics to support two wars at the same time and Ukraine isn't really in the US's interests outside of money laundering and human trafficking. All Russia wants is for Ukraine to no longer be a threat to them and it's easy enough to give in a negotiated surrender. The Chechens might want to go to war for Palestine, but Russia itself will not be interested and keep them reigned in.

I don't think any of this will happen, which is why I posted it.

You don't get to play moral particularism on the necessities of war, collective punishment, whose using human shields against who, which civilians are OK targets or which aren't games without exposing yourself to these criticisms. You are either someone who implicitly or explicitly universally endorses killing civilians or you are someone who recognizes that it is wrong in all cases. Moral particularism implodes on itself.

I feel very strongly on this. I don't think dead civilians are OK. They're not right in Gaza, they're not right in Ashkelon, they're not right in the west bank, they're not right in Israel, they're not right in Palestine. Language about collective punishment, human animals, etc etc so forth opens up historical equivalences that either those uttering these phrases disregard or don't care about. If we as a species want to collectively improve, recognizing that certain actions cannot be contextually justified is an important first step. And its a first step that people show their inability to take repeatedly, year after year, day after day.

Ultimately the atrocities you justify committing on others are just justifications for committing atrocities on you. Play at your own risk.

This is a much better take than a lot of the "evil Jooze need to die six million more" or "nuke Gaza and shove the rubble into the sea" talk you usually expect from here. I jokingly call terrorists goatfuckers but that's about it.
