Why would Eric July bother with criticism from (from his perspective) Literal Whos with a track record of getting off on bothering people and who clearly are just desperate for attention, who are also very obviously doing nothing at all in good faith, and whose own comic book attempt failed so miserably?

TBH I've seen massive restraint from him in terms of backlash. But, I get your point. Why is he bothering at all? I don't get it either, unless he's just trying to get out ahead of the nonsense.
