despite the stereotypes, most pornstars are exhibitionists and swinger or at least come from swinger communities. its the strippers that are in it for the money, and while the two overlap some, the money in porn is so little because there are so many exhibitionists willing to do it for free and its just marketing for strippers/escorts overall.
Same thing with OF, even if they put a cap of making $200 a month on everyone, most of the performers on there would still be doing it, the money's more of a perk, its like how Girls Gone Wild got chicks naked for a T-shirt, its more a small justification so people won't assume they're sluts.
Having said that Kayla just seems like a stereotypical theater kid, she could have been fine not acting like a slutty teenager again, if nick kept up his christian persona.

My favorite part of that whole arc is Jim calling him a pedo because of some minor stream HO did where he was told by mall security to shut off his camera and he claimed to be a child molester and was forced by the court to have his camera on at all times. From then on Jim would completely unintentionally refer to HO as the pedo guy and a majority of the time show a video of HO proclaiming to be a child molester. Which is easily the most monkey paw'd way of being one of Jim's favorite content creators/becoming famous in this sector.

like the other guy said, thats insanely long for an amateur, they only give most people 3 minutes at most if its an open mic, 5 if they're good. 10 minutes is for people who have actually been paid to perform and have stuff like enough written material to fill 10 minutes and don't have stuff like stage fright or weird posture or clothing. You don't typically have guys go over time once they are at that point, unless its truely them on a roll. Having said that you can give an amateur 10 minutes of material and they can do well but that involves a lot of practice and someone writing all of it for them. people don't realize how long 10 minutes truely is, the Gettysburg address is only 2 minutes. even the best stand up comedians of all time still took a month to write 10 minutes, and i'm not even saying a good 10 minutes, just 10 minutes in general of jokes.
30 minutes is practically unheard of unless you're a genuine professional, and if you go over by that much time in a real comedy setting you're going to get your ass kicked. Of course this was a bar show which is as close to a real comedy club as self publishing is to being a real author, or being a soundcloud rapper is to being a professional rapper. But its still insane, most comedians go years before they even feel ready to perform that long, and this dummy thought he could do it all on his first try.

back in the myspace days sure, but that was when being irreverent was cool, the same way not wearing a tie but wearing a blazer was cool in the 90s. If you're doing that and you are old enough to rent a car people will fucking hate you. the only exceptions is maybe if you're a camp councilor or RA or other occupation from the 2000s that involved working with students who might enjoy your childish demeanor.
Unironically Nick doing that is literally him pulling a Spiderman 3 on us. Back when he was a loser thats what he imagined cool people to be like so he's doing it. its literally exactly like Peter Parker doing here.

lol, you're insane if you genuinely think this isn't just a fun hobby for him, the same way it is for Gavin Mcinnis or Ant Cumia or other alcoholics. The only time he's going to be doing stand up is during an event his buddies are hosting. AKA the room is already on his side. he will never be doing this for real. its like singing or rapping for your buddies at a party. he doesn't actually think he has a shot at hollywood.

probably not, its not a real comedy club, its a stage connected to a bowling alley. even if they ban her, there are literally hundreds of other stages in the city (and dozens of bowling alleys). her canceling last minute easily fucked her more than Nick's antics, thats why they're the opener, they're supposed to suck a bit. its like getting pissed that the half time show is bad at any sports game, its literally there to entertain people who aren't getting snacks or taking a shit. Plus like most stand up, especially in the last decade. the people that brought tickets did so because they want to see Chrissie, not because they want to laugh, they're fans of her podcast and want to see her live. Seinfeld pointed this out 30 years ago, "they're here to see you, not the material" its why live podcast episodes are allowed to suck shit compared to normal ones, its about the atmosphere not because its a good show. Chrissie could have gone up there and repeated Nicks entire set and people would have still loved her.
If you're booking her its because you heard she can get 50 people to show up to some stage you have been using as storage the last 5 years. And if you are so desperate you actually respond to some rando offering to fill a place with 50 people on a saturday night at a bar you clearly suck as a business owner in general. On any saturday night in this country any good bar should have so many people that they literally would tell you to fuck off if you showed up with 50 people and would get pretty nervous even if you planned such an event beforehand. Chrissie's just a podcaster that does stand up as far as the comedy community is concerned, she's not a "stand up comedian" Its like how people watch The Voice because of the judges and not because of the singers. If anything Nick easily paid enough at the bar that the business owner should be happy about the event. Usually comedy clubs have to force people to buy even 2 drinks, this asshole brought a dozen just for himself.

He 100% is, one of my alcoholic buddies said drunk driving was rarely caught in the morning, cops have too much shit going on to focus on suspected DUIs, especially on a weekday you're going to be stuck in traffic so tell tale shit is hard to catch when you're just one of hundreds of cars usually going under 20mph. cops are looking out for so many other things and wouldn't pull you over anyways because its more likely some morning distracted driving than a DUI, and that wastes their time way more. same reason they won't pull you over just for talking on a cell phone or for not wearing a seatbelt. the fines aren't worth it compared to catching some road rage guy. Plus because of the hours bars and liquor stores close its rare for an alcoholic to be up at 6 in the morning, and if they are they're more likely hung over meaning pulling someone over and hoping they blow a .08. if you are a cop, the only chance you have of pulling over some drunk guy during morning rush hour is if you luck into some 3rd shift worker who's also an alcoholic and also is still drunk enough to hit above a .08 by the time you find them. Thats shiney pokemon levels of rare. Mind you if someone is drunk that early in the morning on a routine basis they'll just hit someone and you can fuck them over that way. You're better off waiting for the drunk to hit the car in front of them at 9mph and arrest the fucker than hope you somehow can tell the difference between tired driving and drunk driving in a sea of tired drivers.
f vanity publishing. These two women are flying half way across the country to do a ten minute stand up set for no pay to an audience of about 75 who don't give a fuck?
first off they drive, 2nd off their 'fans' are the ones buying tickets to these shows usually and 3rd the comedy community does basically see theses as vanity publishing type scams, its more like an off shoot of paying to see a podcast live only instead of watching your host record a crappy episode of a podcast that will have bad audio because its on a stage and they're playing more towards the audience and having too much fun to focus you're instead watching them perform their little hobby.
do you all not remember Dick's live shows, held in strange areas and for no money and were more excuses to hang out and drink with friends/fans? He's a comedian too.

she's not by any stretch a real road comic, if she was headlining a paid gig before her Wet Spot show got started i'd be amazed. between her porn and alt-right followings she's set for life from her big niche podcasts but she's not a real road comic, the only reason she got featured spots was because she was fucking Pat Dixon.
