It's worth noting that the only videos to break 500k views for him in the past 3 years were his "reviews" of Soulja Boy's game console and DK Oldies refurbished consoles. While his technical knowledge is definitely nothing special, stunts like these allow him to maintain a reputation among the uninitiated of a tech guru who's here to call out the BS. Hold on, did Riley really film the Vegas show? My impression was he didn't. I thought it was just some random who offered to do it on the fly and that there was talk about how it was going to be professionally done the next time.

Then the Nashville audio was even worse and essentially inaudible.

During the 7 hour meltdown stream Nick admitted that Riley filmed the Nashville show, which I believe was the first confirmation that Nick had a business relationship with Riley, but I don't think he said anything about Vegas at that time.

Right, and Rich is basically doing the same content he's always done. He's been at it since 2009. The main difference is he's started with just tech before branching out to tech and drama.

It's difficult for Nick to leverage his success in Heard and Rittenhouse here because (outside of the ministry suing July) there's not really a courtroom drama playing out here (yet). July is more of a social media and consumer product drama. The whole thing is way more in Rich and Jeremy's wheelhouse than Nick's.

Jarbo is technically closer to Rich and Jeremy than Dick is, but I think it's clear now Jarbo will probably never recover from Bouldergate. Hence when word was posted here that he's throwing in with Dick, people just sorta rolled their eyes.

Yeah that fits with my impression that some random guy in the audience offered to film it for him. It doesn't make sense that he would disclose only half of the work Riley did.

My guess was that Riley, Mint, and Nick hit it off in Philly and that's where they agreed that Riley would be the guy recording Nick's future live events, at least Nashville, maybe this comedy show too.

100% this right here, Eric July needs to document everything and keep it for lawyers to advise him on bringing it to the cops or sue over, but be totally silent about them otherwise.
