Halal means it is a forum user with a former standing.

In order to prevent community infighting, the proper procedure is to get permission from staff before making a public thread on the subject. There's not really a set in stone ruleset on it since they're fairly rare compared to all other thread types.

The main point is in making the case to staff before publishing any material so you don't end up with a 1000 threads of "this user said something dumb once (and gave me mean stickers)."

But his connection with children's hospitals gave him easy access to said children. He was fond of donating to disabled children's hospitals. He also worked with children on his TV shows.

The guy single-handedly tricked 99% of the British public for decades. And those who knew were ignored. Because a generous, charitable guy like Jimmy Savile couldn't be a child molester, right?

I think plenty of pedophiles are disgustingly intelligent, they're able to cover their tracks perfectly. Goes especially true if they have plenty of connections.
