Opinion Freddie Krueger Who? Karen is the Real Face of Terror For Black America - Halloween Wypipology

Her visage is more frightening than that of Freddie Krueger.

Jason’s hockey mask has nothing on her.

In a world where law enforcement violence against Black Americans is far too common, where stereotypes still abound, the true face of terror is not Chucky or the Nun.

It’s Karen.

With one plaintive cry, with one call to the cops or an angry demand to see the manager, some hapless Black person can quickly find themselves questioned, hauled off - or worse.

Doesn’t matter if the Black person in question is a man or a woman. Doesn’t matter if they are strong or weak. Doesn’t matter if they are an adult or a child.

Karen can get them. She can still drag them to hell.

Karen’s terrible power is not new.

How many enslaved women were sent packing or out to the fields because Karen resented her presence or sought to put distance between her husband and the enslaved woman?

How many enslaved men were whipped merely because of the suggestion that they had dared to look upon Karen with anything other than subservience?

That was the spark that lit the conflagration that consumed Tulsa, Oklahoma’s “Black Wall Street” in 1921. Two years later, it lit the white supremacist tinder that burned the Black community of Rosewood in Florida.

Karen pointed the finger that resulted in the horrific beating death of Emmett Till in 1955.

Even when Karen herself is a killer, she still has the power to make a Black man’s life a nightmare on Elm or any other street.

What Black man in Union, South Carolina was safe in 1994, when Susan Smith told police a Black man had carjacked her and taken her toddler sons?

For a while, at least, police there dutifully did that Karen’s bidding in hunting for a non-existent Black kidnapper before realizing that Smith had murdered her own children.

Cell phones and social media have begun to chip away at Karen’s awful might.

That brother in New York didn’t get strung up three years ago for being Black while bird watching in large part because there was footage of Karen’s attempt to weaponize law enforcement against him.

She was caught lying, pretending to be a victim when she was the offender. Social media and news accounts actually sent her to the proverbial sunken place; she was fired from her job and lost the discrimination suit she filed against her former employer.

Still, for every Amy Cooper, there are other Karens out there, intolerant of anything but Black fealty and readily believed when they point the finger.

Karen’s mask isn’t on sale this Halloween. And yet she lingers in the American consciousness, more vengeful than Samara Morgan, more dangerous than Annabelle or M3GAN.

Funny that they can only point to two examples and the only one of those where violence actually occurred (Emmett Till) happened independent of the "Karen" bullshit:

Also, it's "Freddy Krueger" - get an editor, dummy
The Emmitt Till case is a scissor issue and honestly a bit of a Trayvon Case, where there’s a lot of signal-to-noise going on and a lot of shit we’ll never know.

The fact that they’ve spent decades trying to lynch a woman who may have gotten sexually harassed is hilarious. Till being killed is sad, but as time goes on I find myself on the “he did something retarded, didn’t deserve to die, but acted like a fool probably”.

Next week we'll discuss another hot new 'meme' everyone's talking about!

Really? It's not the feral nog willing to kill you for your pair of Air Jordans?
But that's just day to day life for the average African American.
The Karen is a foreign concept outside their conceptualisation, a thing that cannot be fully grasp or understood and thus frightening in it's mind rending horror. A black man might ask "Why no one slap dat ho up?" and forever will the thought haunt him "Is dat ho unslappable?"

I look forward to the riveting discussion about gentrification!

Till being killed is sad
Given his father was a rapist, I have little regard for that little niglet.

His dad gets threatened with jail or army for rape, goes into the army and then rapes over in Italy. Wow, it's almost like stink niggers are predisposed to muhdikin.

I think it’s a poor idea to judge someone based on their father who they never met. Genes do matter, but I’m of the opinion that upbringing is as important.

You can easily regard his mothers choice in men as a better psychological profile for him. His father was a violent offender and Till got violent with another one of his mother’s boyfriends. She sent him to Hicksville to avoid getting in trouble because he was getting in trouble.

1860 Karen didn't resent niggers, and she definitely wasn't intimidated by them. She bullied them because she could and that's how women are.

Blacks at the time were considered to be subhuman animals, more akin to oxen than a person. Did Karen also get jealous of the cattle or a particularly thoroughbred horse?

We need to make a rule about The Root. Its such a stupid and obvious rage bait site so it shouldn't be posted in A&H.
Like the audience reacting to a long Andy Kaufman bit, there comes a point after the anger where the sheer absurdity of hovering over a link and seeing (of course) the expected name of the shithole site is incredibly funny.

If niggers weren't such a predictable monolith, i might agree with you. Their upbringings are 99.9% the same.
If you're scared of older ladies reporting your crimes maybe reconsider the whole operation.
I'm starting to really, really, hate niggers, faggots and anyone left of me.
It drives them batshit crazy that niggers' 2 ace cards are violent intimidation and triggering sympathy. When Karen calls the wypipo, she exploits their intimidation tactics and claims to be afraid and that triggers the white man into a protective rage. Making white women feel unsafe also destroys any sympathy for the nigger. Checkmate.

They're still trying to push this forced meme three years later?
It's worse than a forced meme, it's a decades old meme that spawned naturally as a result of a polite way of talking about people giving you shit at work that got corrupted and co-opted by the mainstream media and then forced as "white woman i do not like because politics"

I remember how that phrase developed from the very beginning. It started out with shitposting about "Karen taking the kids" as part of a larger narrative about a deranged person mad about his ex-wife. It was then combined with another meme, the "can I speak to your manager haircut", so these started out as two separate memes that then merged. This then turned into retail workers talking about "Karens", who were then understood to be women who were shitty to workers in service industries by their sense of entitlement. This then turned into women being obnoxious in general. And then, about two or three years after this all began, it started to be used by black people as a way to insult white women.

But if you read an "official" account of the term's history, none of this happened. The term began, fully-formed, as a term used by black people to describe white women who were obnoxious. And this came with the addendum that they were obnoxious, of course, because their white privilege made them so. I've seen how this term, that started out as an irreverent meme about a non-existent man's ex-wife, eventually evolved into a way to breed racial resentment against white women.

The term went from being about a woman who didn't exist, to a commentary about a particular type of haircut, to an insult at women who are rude to service staff, to an insult at women who are rude in general, to a generalized insult about white women. I'm not quite sure what the moral of the story is here, other than that whenever an "official" source (Wikipedia, the New York Times, the BBC, etc.) talks about Internet slang or Internet culture, it always gets it completely wrong in suspiciously convenient ways.

I would take this retarded nigger who wrote this seriously if he acknowledges the amount of homicides committed by niggers against whites is only about 100 times greater than any "Karen" has been responsible for.

"The Root" is written for people with 70 IQ's, independent thought or even fact-checking these articles doesn't happen.

Oh excuse us white people for unleashing a angry but harmless white woman with a bad haircut on you oppressed lot. It’s not like your risk of being murdered as a white person goes up 10 fold being in proximity of a nigger; but tell us more about how terrifying a screaming middle age woman is.

The equivalent of three Vietnam wars lasting fifty five years worth of Whites killed by these feral pseudo humans. That's about 2,600 a year on average.

Fuck all of them and their imaginary persecution complex.
