Pilots outside the third world ran into the 737 Max bug but they were able to recover because they actually knew how to fly. The bug only affected the plane's autopilot so you could escape the runaway dive by switching to manual control.

The thirdie pilots only understood flying as a pushbutton video game and never thought to disengage the autopilot so they let the planes spike into the ground. The same quality of diversity hires are now being pushed in Western aviation industries.
