It's a suburban sized city not huge but it's got the nice and large Walmart and more then that you get many of the better tier stores like Best buy and etc..

Reddit got that information from a small city's news broadcast. The admins of Reddit panicked and deleted everything having to do with identifying that teen. And thus removed the link to the news broadcast. And of course the news agency wiped evidence of their news report. It would have gotten Reddit off the hook and placed blame squarely on who first announced it had they not been so eager to cover their asses.

20 weeks out of the Army Reserve. At minimum that would put him at 38. The live streamer guy says that he is 40 years old.

Which came first? The pending retirement, or the mental issues that forced his retirement? Did he cease to be a fire arms instructor once he was retired from the Army Reserves? For someone with some mental issues, that would have completely untethered him. A complete life change. What about employment?

I wonder if a softer landing out of the Army Reserves and maybe additional mental health services on exit would have prevented this guy from completely losing it.

In China these losers always go after the children. The children are the parent's retirement plan. It really screws up many more people. Ending someone's genetic line is pretty much the worst thing you can do to a person.

Considering this is Maine and there is a plethora of abandoned cottages, and boats in the area there is a good chance you might get away. I genuinely feel for the police in this situation they're dealing with a ghost.

The State Police have at least one thermal drone. They're well within a state police budget these days, say like $50k for drone and optic. Source, I live in Maine and have a police scanner. Local PD and sheriff's departments will call for a thermal drone during manhunts. Larger departments like Portland and Bangor may even have their own.

Thermals are great, but it only works if there's a direct line-of-sight. If he bunkers down in the trees, he'll still disappear. A K9 could still smoke him out, if he didn't bug out in a boat or car. This long after the shooting, he's probably long gone now, though.

You can (theoretically) modify any gun to (theoretically) do that (in minecraft). It doesn't even have to (theoretically) be with OEM parts or whatever. There are legal triggers that can (theoretically) give you a faster ROF like binary triggers
