Neptune did vaguely hint at (sexual?) abuse during a late night Twitter meltdown just before she left - I captured some of it so it’s in the thread somewhere. There was no indication who it was about but J would be an obvious suspect. Interesting that Neck got the same impression.

Overall what can we make of it… there’s nothing new here other than absolute nightmarish personalities failing to get along and trying to grift off each other. Yes, the tranch was not a “safe place” for any of these weirdos, no shit.

That was immediately the thing that stood out to me. Why were the "ranch hands" being asked to do basic housework when there were already a ton of people in the house? Cleaning a cat's literbox takes about 5 minutes a day. It's so fast and easy and arguably so much simpler than any of the outside hard labor that had to be done. They really were trying to offload every little adult task off onto the serfs.

I deeply wish I could ask these people about their conceptions of life and how households operate. Vulpes says that she and her partner have “the kind of disabilities where they can’t do daily activities”. What does that mean to her? Clearly cleaning the litter box is out of the question. Can they do other housework? Can they cook or clean? Can they do field work, feeding animals or hauling off dead alpacas?

If not… was her idea that she would move to the Tranch and people would provide her free housing, food, a gas allowance, and she would just… not contribute at all? Her annoyance that Penny wanted her to sign up for food stamps and then used the food stamps collectively is interesting.

TBH I am fascinated. Farm and ranch work is some of the hardest work you can do, but many of these people seemed to think that they would do nothing and the system would just take care of them. HOW??? It’s just such an interesting worldview, where you can imagine an autonomous and self sufficient queer anarchist ranch, but you think that you will be carefully nurtured and never have to touch cat turds???

I'm willing to give benefit of the doubt about the car litter, and think that maybe "triggering" is a bad word choice.

If I have to handle excrement of any kind, I vomit. I'll plug my nose to avoid smelling it, and I have to not be able to see it close-up. If I pick it up I have to avoid "feeling" it. Even typing this out makes me gag. It's probably some stupid sensory processing issue, and it sucks.

I've still cleaned many litter boxes...

But why not compromise and switch the chore with someone else if it's that bad, and someone knows it's that bad?

Have there been any actual, credible reports of abuse (towards people) from the tranch? Like, I'm surprised. The tranch's whole situation makes it the perfect opportunity to abuse someone. It's in the middle of no where, somewhat off grid, takes in effectively homeless trannies who coast into town on fumes. It sounds like they were concerned about "one of the four" having an eating disorder, i.e. the four originals, Penny, Kev, Bonnie, or Jen. There has been speculation that Jen has some sort of eating disorder (besides the eating shit one), probably anorexia. Maybe that's why he's so cranky all the time.
