Sort of. Its not to the level of Russia's paper tiger, but the IDF is incredibly casualty adverse. Part of it is the universal conscription means that deaths will be felt over society and Jew mourning being what it is means that family is now voting the opposition for the forseeable future becasue Uncle Shlomo was killed in a ground op.

The other issue is the IDF is largely jews, and imagine a Jew actually risking anything let alone its life for any cause other than its own personal gain.

It has been useless for decades because the Soviet Union broke up, it functions best when there is great powers able to check the bullshit of other powers, give it a decade and the UN will be extremely important as the US decays and Russia, China, India and maybe if you like memes, Brazil become power players in their own right.

Idk I'm sure it's just because of the internet blockade and blah blah but it's funny we don't have tons of footage of last night's stuff from all over. People don't have a lot of power or internet but they have some and a huge moral boost to get footage of them chasing off the israelis. And it's good propaganda to show a perfect dine and dash raid too if israel has THAT footage.

I may have to recind my night vision chads prediction to "slapfight in the desert" if one side or the other doesn't show what they actually did last night :biggrin:

I think you just came with unrealistic expectations of what the start of the ground invasion would look like. As I understand it, the purpose the movement overnight was far, far from blitzing straight into Gaza City. Rather, it was simply to secure an entry point in the northernmost part of Gaza so that the IDF can start moving in material and setting up shop on Gazan soil, still well away from urban centers. It's Israel's own wall that spans the entire border with Gaza, so they'd prefer to knock down as little of it as possible for the sake of the invasion.

Between the apparent Hamas forces, the endless tunnels, and the entire remaining civilian population (some of which will be hostile), I imagine that the penetration of urban centers will be a slow and meticulous process.

In regards to this, Ireland is one of the few European countries that is consistently holding a neutral policy as opposed to siding with the various globalist projects and their parliamentarians routinely criticize wars in general. Because of their history they like to support the underdog too it seems.
