I swear to god there has to be some facility where all these total nobody Vtubers come from, Twitch has to be overrun with these Bargin bin rejects.
Some are just titty streamers that use the virtual avatar to rectify their lack of real-life looks I assume, though some of it is also probably the anonymity of not showing their real face as part of their online personality. You're probably right that “independent” vtubers are practically factory-made though, I believe a lot of them buy a premade model from artists and then work from there, even at the corporate level.

The Air Force took Boyd's purpose built dogfight machine and added several systems to make it a true multi role jet, which pissed Boyd off because it sacrificed just a little bit of its dogfight potential.
The big butthurt was over putting an air-to-ground capable radar on it. The mafia thought this was a deliberate sabotage so that the F-15 could remain the air-to-air star.

So he was trying to pull an SU-57 at the advent of BVR shit?
Most Reformers consider anything not visual ID as iffy at best, a liability at worst. Aircraft aren't really my thing, but thinking on it, seems like the original pure fighter F-16 would have been a fix to the F-4's problem's in 'Nam. Which the F-15 was supposed to be, until the Pentagon ruined it by putting a second engine and enough electronics to kill things before they got in gun range, ruining it as a dog fighter.

Wait, was Boyd a spiritual Marine who got lost and ended up in the AF? Abrasive, problems with authority, independent, lashed to tradition.. Like a lot of his disregard for technology and need for specialized tools makes sense for the Stockholm Syndrome of the Poverty Branch. Maneuver Warfare was a perfect fit for them and they love the OODA Loop. It makes sense to be wary of new developments and stick to the old ways when 'new developments' have been sitting unused in an Army warehouse for 25 years before you get them.

I wonder if Boyd ever spontaneously let out "Oorah!" during his time in the Air Force.

Yes. That's why they love him.

The F-15 being the better bomb truck all along is somewhere between sad and funny.

It really streamlined the system quite a bit. The Garand still lives on today in the AK, and is beyond LP's comprehension that a Ruskie could somehow make a western system better
I would honestly argue that the Finns and the Swiss make the best AK's.
Wish I could find a Sig 552/556 that won't cost me a left nut.

My AK is a Saiga 7.62 that I snagged well before the import ban, and converted myself. I've got like $500 into it... I still have the box.
Nice. I also have my first AK, one of the good Gen3 Palmetto State Arms AKs, but my ex-DDR one is my pride and joy. One stays at home, one stays in the trunk. I would buy a proper AK-74, but good luck getting 5.45x39mm at anything but "Assrape" pricing.

10 years ago I could have got a 556 for cheap. Local gun shop took it in trade from a Trooper on a LWRC. It weighed close to 9 lbs with an unloaded mag. Trooper went to one training class with it and decided he needed something lighter.
This would just be something "cool to have". My AR that has a light and an Comp M4 weighs significantly less than that, lmao.

It's the Galil and only half of that is Tom Siezemore in HEAT. The other half is an excuse to point out Israeli Galili's birth name was Yisreali Balashnikov and he only changed it after he started working on adopting the Kalashnikov for Isreal.

The Galil is literally a Valmet in 5.56 with a bipod, a carry handle, and a vertical knob welded to the charging handle.
