Are either of those gender neutral though? I’m not a native speaker but I’m fairly sure they’re both masculine.

In general, in English, masculine words contextually become gender-neutral when directed at groups or used for a generic person. This makes feminists mad, so they've been trying to invent new language rules for about 50 years now, but it's so ingrained in how English is spoken that new words & phrases keep emerging that cause them new rounds of hysterical fits, 'hey guys' being only one of the most recent.

It's funny because in other languages where generic masculinum has been a standard since forever, maybe some retard feminists were crying about it in the past (and they were rightfully ignored or mocked), but it's only now with gender specials and trannies that they seriously push changes which are unnatural to the normal population (just look at "latinx"). Anyway, I can tell you that in my language, the changes are not pushed by anyone who really believe it's helping feminism. If you ask me, it's doing the opposite.

personally I consider both pretty gender neutral in today's usage but I suppose they have a masculine root. But I'm also not a troon and I don't get upset over "misgendering" if someone calls me mate, dude or bro.

Thread tax, assorted pictures of hallowiener troons from /r/translater.

Our wonderful AirBnB hosts gifted my girlfriend and I a free night as there was no one else coming into the cottage for a few days. Nipple piercings are gender validating? Do men not have nipples to pierce? (Answer is obviously yes because it's a man wanting them pierced).
Also re: Britbong "mate", in certain places and social circles/classes, mate is 100% neutral. I suppose some women might be bothered by it, especially super feminine dressed ones. But also definitely troons.

Mate would be ”validating” if it was women saying it to them.

It’s used by both genders to refer to friends, but when used to address a stranger, it is male in context generally speaking.

However, it could be used by women to women in the addressing stranger context.

What would be “validating” if used in this context by either sex would be “love”.

“Hello Love” is mostly just informal and meant to be endearing to a stranger from the opposite sex, but Troons would really like to be addressed that way by men in nightclubs as it is usually used by men addressing women they want to flirt with.

It makes sense when you realize 'gender validating' is another way of saying 'autogynephilia' - this guy just trooned out, he will (presumably) be starting HRT soon, and getting his nipples pierced reminds him of the True and Honest Female Breasts he'll soon be sprouting. It's not too different from the troons who get so excited about getting their ears pierced - men would never do that, only a True and Honest Lady would even think of it!

I never said it wasn't stupid - if this guy wants to get his nipples pierced he doesn't need to troon out to do that.

Weird take. People exist without sexual urges and to say otherwise is more porn brained. Now most people online saying they are any label are probably lying.

Also yes, no libido is literally asex.

FYI, having no libido at all means something is wrong with you and you need to see a doctor or a psychiatrist. That's not normal.

Back home and can provide ridiculousness once more.

Evil terfs hate trans periods
IMG_6324.jpeg
Who else finds the terf/GC obsession with trans women and periods to be completely nuts?

I occasionally like to snoop around in terf and gc spaces on Tumblr just to see what they're up to and it feels like they've gotten more reactionary and irrational by the minute.

For some reason there's this new obsession with just hating the hormonal/emotional side of periods and basically erasing the fact that they exist. Like terfs have this FETISH for the actual bleeding cramps and whatnot, and will talk about it all day long but every other part of periods (mood swings, tenderness/soreness, bloating, fatigue) basically doesn't even exist to them which is infuriating. They use "woman who eats chocolate on her period" as another misogynistic put-down like "libfem" or "handmaiden," there's also this weird stigma in some radfem spaces against NOT free-bleeding. No thank you, I don't like having my underwear soaked with blood.

So naturally, they use this whole obsession to invalidate trans women who experience PMS-like symptoms. If a trans woman ever DARES to call her monthly hormonal changes "periods" for lack of a better term than her comments are flooded with terfs with such normal and not-obsessive takes like "but you don't bleed so it's not that bad" or "what makes you want to suffer so bad as a woman" or whatever. It's all so dumb. They get LIVID at the idea that trans women have periods.

What terfs don't seem to realize is that basically all of their anti-trans rhetoric hurts cis people. I was born female and still mostly identify as a woman and bleeding is the LEAST of my concerns when it's period time. They seem to want to talk on and on about how PMS and hormone changes are some conspiracy theory created by mustache-twiddling men but my PMS mood swings are the most loathesome and feared part of my period. For example, just last week I cried for two hours consecutively just because I couldn't go to the movie theater. And that's a tame example.

And for some reason, terfs/gc/radfems want to deny that period-having people experience periods.... in the name of feminism? Imagine being intersex conditions to do with periods or PMDD, it must feel awful to be so invalidated by terfs. Having only one definition of a woman will always be hurtful but I digress.

We are a cult apparently.

Apparently it’s all about the blood. We don’t care about the science. Women without periods are still women, and usually still have a hormonal cycle.

We twist reality to suit our logic? I think that’s what you lot do.

Women have been dealing with periods and all the unpleasantness forever. We have been shamed into silence about it, told to get over it when we tell the doctor about a problem. Now men in dresses want to claim them? The fact that they can’t understand why women are angry about this is telling; how dare we have this function that you do not.

Men have shamed women who cannot conceive into feeling like a failure of a woman, not terfs. And men have shamed women when they have emotional outbursts. Must be my time of the month ‘cos seeing their ignorance has made me mad.

They can take my fucking PCOS and pain. 41% would happen sooner if they could experience a true period.

Funny because I've seen at least as many males with pierced nipples as females. It's like saying a lip piercing is feminine.

This makes me think of Shiteater Jen at the Tranch - you can tell he got his nips pierced before he started HRT since the piercings are no longer horizontal... but also it really shows how abnormally HRT moobs grow.

Real women know that "You're so brave" is the gold standard of backhanded compliments.

I can fully see a bloke saying it as a not so snidey dig for a laugh to a troon for sure.
Any form of address that isn't explicitly for women like "Ma'am" "Miss" or "Your Highness" makes them seethe. It's a great way to trigger trannies while maintaining plausible deniability. "Guys" or "dude" are a little on-the-nose; I like to come up with more subtle ones that still make it crystal clear that I know they'll never be women. Try it at home! Ideas:

"Chief"

"Hoss"

"Pal"

"Dawg"

"Guv'na" (for the bongs in the thread)
