Not that I really care since 7/10, but the posts were criminal under Israeli military law, and the IDF's responses were justified. Similar incidents in Israel proper are being handled by the regular criminal justice system, albeit with much more alacrity than usual.
It's also a matter of deterrence - Hamas has been trying to drag every actor they can into the fighting in order to bail them out, West Bank Palestinians first and foremost. If you know that the IDF is willing and able to destroy your livelihood over an Instagram post, you'll probably realize that the Jews mean business this time and it isn't such a good idea to join the planned Friday chimpout.

You know, up until recently I would have believed in all the complex historical/political reason behind this sudden burst of leftist Hamas support, but ever since I stumbled upon the subreddit where liberal Reddits fantasize together about being raped by fascists, my views have changed.
I think a lot of these people feel aimless and meaningless and also hate themselves, and they want to be cucked or dominated by strongmen who will make them feel something. On a psychological level, if not an outright sexual one. Currently Hamas, as a signifier of power and terror, fills that need.
Asking "do these people know what would happen to a troon in Gaza?" misses the point, because on some level they do know, and they wish for it. The same death instinct that makes them slice off their breasts and reproductive organs also draws them to the people who would rape them to death or throw them off a building if they had a chance. It's a desire for submission and obliteration, in every imaginable sense.

Hamas has only itself to blame for the war by starting it and by not abiding by the Geneva Conventions. Had they done so, even normies wouldn't be so ambivalent. Instead, the big concern is over the wider war America is waging in Syria and further destabilization of the Middle East. Right now, it remains to be seen whether the obliteration of the Gaza Strip will even get the major ME powers to intervene against the US or not. I personally don't think it will because Hamas is an overextended pawn that is, at best, covered by another pawn in Hezbollah. Even if the Arab plebs get rid of their current rulers, they will not be able to provide the logistical and bureaucratic (yes, bureaucracy does serve a purpose) services needed to field proper armies to attack Israel.
The best way to survive a nigga moment is to avoid becoming part of nigga synthesis.
