Good luck procuring 5.7x28 ammunition though, I rarely see it in my area and I frequent that shelf for a little box or two for my own calibers here and there.

Even if he knows a shop that gets 5.7 on the regular, the cost is nuts. Even a PCC in .45 would be substantially cheaper, and if he bought something like a Thompson clone, at least that's cool AND movie friendly. It even appeared in star trek a few times!
