I want to be excited about an upcoming video game title. I want to believe there are still good games out there. I want to believe that the God Emperor can actually give us a good 40k RPG. I want it to be devoid of woke heresy with a story as tight as the firm buttocks on a sister of battle.

I want to believe this is it.

I loved Kingmaker and Wrath of the Righteous, so I've been looking forward to it. You can get into the alpha version now if you wanted to (I'm sure someone will upload a version of it TPB or similar soon), to see how it's turning out. That said, as much as I like Owlcat they are modern game developers and there will undoubtedly be woke elements in it... luckily they've so far allowed you to murder gay characters, usually ignore content you don't want, or push back against it in some way.

Looking forward to this. Couldn't get into the Pathfinder games as I don't care for isometric RTWP or the Pathfinder setting but I like me some Warhammer.

It will hopefully be less than previous titles, most of the gay shit in the Pathfinder games was shit Paizou added back when the campaign were originally written, so out of Owlcat's control. But the studio has a few hambeasts with dangerhair, so some woke shit wouldn't be a surprise

Just so long as its not the focus and the player is given the choice to purge woke heresy.

After that recent trailer i'm cautiously optimistic, it looks pretty fucking good. About time they make a serious attempt at a proper 40k RPG.

Alpha is cracked but i didn't see any sense in downloading it, most likely enjoying it and then getting mad that i have to wait a year to play the finished product.

the elf/orc couple you can cuck/threesome is all owlcat. afaik only the one troon behind skillchecks in wrath was in the original AP (which were written in 2010 and 2013, so a bit before the woke menace).

Interesting to see a FFG 40k system be converted to a video game. Never thought that would happen. Being the 40k universe. I am sure everything woke would be purged. But I am not confident that they will not allow the Pc to play a Mary Sue fish out of water that makes everything better.

Hell yes I'm so hyped for this I've really been looking forward to this game. Glad to see it finally has a release date and so soon too. I thought for sure it wasn't coming out this year.

So far the only ZOG I found was a female vox officer saying she was close to the female psyker.

"We were both outcasts and liked drinks playing chess" stuff. Can be gay, but honestly there are so many wires on the character I am not sure how you would even do the logistics on something so close to a servitor. Like where is the organic hole under all the cabling?

Oh and there is a noble that rumoredly bangs a servitor harem, but that is Slaanesh... so kind of expected.

Actually kinda disappointed they're shoving it out this year. The early access beta was in rough shape, and given their track record I have zero confidence that the game won't start feeling rushed the further in you get and then fall apart in the final act.

TBF that's just par for the course for nobility even without Slaanesh. There's a reason She Who Thirsts is massively overrepresented among the ranks of the Imperium's nobility. When you're going to live for a few hundred years and have access to all but the most advanced archaoetech and an unlimited supply of drugs and alcohol, banging a two-dicked, four-boobed joygirl in the ass gets stale eventually.

Looking forward to this one myself. There is some pozz'd shit with some of the romances but other than that haven't heard anything overtly degenerate.

Won't be able to play on PC but hopefully the PS5 version will be decent.

If you told me 15 years ago that we'd be getting a 40k CRPG in style of Baldur's Gate and it'd be based on the ruleset for my favorite 40k TRPG and I'd be actively dreading it due to the out of place artstyle and previous tendencies of Owlcat to put their weird fetishes in the game I'd have been very confused but here we are. Fuck that monkey paw.

I have a lot of shit to say about Darktide but that game nailed the aesthetic of the 41st millennium so well and it's a travesty that we don't have an RPG to properly represent the Grim Darkness of the 41st Millennium. More John Blanche and less generic DnD digital art please.

Eh, the game was just fine from the bits I played.
