2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Analysis of the upcoming tunnel warfare.

Dumping seawater, concrete or sewage into the tunnels would be a neat trick. I don't think the IDF have the stones to flush the tunnels with carbon monoxide and gas the terrorists like gophers.

I'm guessing they'll end up doing something like this:

And we come full circle.

Would be hilarious to see them attempt to fill em with water or sewage. But I feel like it’s an effort in futility, there’s just so many tunnels spanning for hundreds of miles, with a labyrinth of layers and in some cases tunnels on top of deeper tunnels. I don’t think pumping it with water will do much. Some water pours in and by the time it gets up the the goatfuckers’ ankles, they’re hightailing it out to higher up tunnels or closed off tunnels that don’t feed into the one being filled with water. It just seems like an impossible task to get them all, or even just a decent amount, with water or sewage.
As for gas, they’re probably not ballsy enough and would likely be afraid of huge backlash if gassing the tunnels killed off all their own hostages just like the Moscow Theater hostage situation.

Jews "I just don't feel safe outdoors anymore oy vey"
Also Jews "WHATS YOUR NAME! TELL THIS BIG PACK OF JEWS YOUR NAME GOY! WHEN MY UNCLE SHMOIDLE FINDS OUT ABOUT THIS YOU'LL NEVER WORK AGAIN!"
Interestingly, it seems like a large amount of the recordings of confrontations aren’t even coming from heebs. There’s a huge amount of Christians, Repubs, and more moderate Dems that are extremely defensive of Israel (though it’s unclear whether that’s due to all of them actually caring about Jews or just hating Muslims so much that they side with Jews by default). I know for sure at least two of the videos I’ve seen in the last few days (including the one of the New Yorkers flipping shit on the Arab tearing posters down) have the people confronting them explicitly saying basically “I’m not even Jewish but what the fuck is wrong with you? These are kids.”

IDF announces two combat deaths in northern Gaza, both from Sayeret Givati.

What is Israel's long term plan? Looks like completely flattening North Gaza & Gaza City. Feel like they're going to push Palestinians to the southern half, and occupy the north. In twenty years Gazas probably going to be a resort town and fully apart of Israel.
They are going to give the land to Null.
We, the people of Kiwifarmns deserve our own holy land.

Also, there was a video earlier in the thread showing how cheap and complex tunnels can get. There's a city underneath Gaza that cannot be gassed, flooded, bombed, or cleared safely without serious casualties. Israel is FUCKED in a ground invasion, it will take years to break Hamas. Every problem Russia has taking cities in a very depopulated Eastern Europe will be magnified by a million. Limited ingress. Low initiative. Air power is a limited advantage in urban and tunnel combat. Supply lines can be constantly harassed by rocket artillery from Hezbollah. All escalation to accelerate the end of the conflict or force Hamas into a pitched battle are labeled as genocide and threaten regional war. Any humanitarian corridor is just a ratline for weapons and men. Hamas have been planning and testing and building networks of tunnels and defensive plans since the Second Intifada, and even if the governments of the neighboring countries aren't able to commit to war, Arabs are likely to keep supporting them and pressuring their states. When people want to go to war, states usually take the chance.

gaza isn't the vietnam jungle
if they don't want to go into the tunnels, they always have the option to just seal or collapse the entrances in areas they take over. i've said before that they can't really starve out the whole strip without going in, but they can definitely starve out the tunnels after occupying the surface.

I'm still mad we lost our secret volcano island lair

yeah it's like, _if_ Israel is concerned about large amounts of civilians killed in Gaza then that would be a big issue
and _if_ Santy Claus brings me a new bike for Christmas that would be nice too but I'm not holding my breath about that either

Watch, someone's going to start throwing drones in there like manhacks or the old game Descent.

Hamas video showing off their latest "torbedo":

Fires near Naqoura from Israelli shells. The Lebanese are kvetching to the UN about muh white phosphorus:

Houthi missile landed/intercepted in Jordan. There are reports that the Jordanians shot it down themselves:

Defense Minister Gallant told soldiers in Palmachim this afternoon that the IDF had paid a "heavy price" over the past day, so expect more Israeli casualty announcements.

More footage of the wreckage in Jabalia:

IDF says it was a strike on a key commander of Hamas forces in northern Gaza and one of the planners of 7/10, Ibrahim Biari:

After the strike, Hamas's tunnels in the area collapsed, which is the reason for the extreme level of destruction.

Separately, the IDF spokesman announced that the Givati brigade took a Hamas strongpoint in western Jabalia and killed around 50 terrorists (the statement is kind of confusing as to whether that figure refers to Jabalia alone or the brigade's total throughout the strip today).
