There's nothing wrong with masturbating as long as you're just using your imagination and it's not interfering with your life. No fap is an autistic overreaction to porn.
Nobody asked you newfag either. We get it, you all lack the willpower to stop playing around with your dicks compulsively, but it’s not our responsibility or the purpose of this board to validate your bad life choices.

"I am literally autistic and can't imagine that one could do something besides masturbate compulsively all the time, or never masturbate at all."

Called it. Classic projection.

Have you even tried to look at the evidence? Because you sound pretty sure about something you don't know shit about.

Did you retarded faggot just crawl through my post history because I called you out for being addicted to playing with your own dick? Talk about an infected thread.

There actually is a third option, which is having sex. That thought never entered your mind?
Then again the dude you’re so eagerly defending admitted just a few posts ago that he a) felt the need to participate in nofap november and b) found it actually impossible to stop touching his dick for literal three days, so I’ll be taking neither advice nor judgement from any of you Redditors, thanks.

Sure, capeshit is a genre that has been done to death and everyone's sick of it but this might be one of the most NPC logic I've ever seen

Man, I cannot imagine having such little agency to feel like you can only like things that everyone else likes too, and over something so inconsequential like a damn movie too

This is up there with the most pussy ass mindset I have ever seen on the internet. This inst just NPC behavior, this is just outright being a pussy.

Jerking off is shameful and pathetic, using porn or not. Every guy has done it, but it’s still true. Nofap to me has always seemed relatively normal for redditors.

Why gay men want to be trans women
This might better fit on Reddit general, but it's basically a bunch of gay men fetishing how straight men treat them compared to other gay men.
Is this also why lesbians are becoming transgender?
If you're a "transgirl" who dates a man, you are still gay. Because you'll never be a woman.

So I saw something pretty interesting, a small bead of value among the trash.

The subreddit DataHoarder is focused on exactly what the name implies. Hoarding data and saving everything. Having huge NAS at home, racks of HDs to keep stuff backed up, archiving entire websites. That sort of shit.

Recently a thread was made with this image of a tweet, with a pretty blatant call to action.

House Speaker deleted his podcast. Hoarders to the rescue

You will notice the thread is locked. In a once in a blue moon incident this isn't because of reddit mods being faggots and throwing a fit. If you notice the flair of the thread it says "Bullshit!", the mods have locked the thread because of the fact the entire thing is fake news.

takedown.png

I locked this thread and just removed another saying It appears the moderators are afraid of this content being viewed; can someone plz help?? , because.... I wrote this to the mod team and I'm happy to say it here.

Our thread on the January 6th riots and subsequently being a place people coordinated archiving* them saw our biggest subscriber jump over the lifetime of the sub. What I'm saying in this is that a not insignificant chunk of our users are highly political. And so... https://old.reddit.com/r/DataHoarde..._speaker_deleted_his_podcast_hoarders_to_the/
We get threads like this one, a picture post without context that when you look into it has nothing to do with data hoarding and is just political bullshit (not that accountability though preserving data isn't important)
Mike Johnson removed podcasts from his website, he didn't remove them from the podcast networks and as of writing still hasn't ... now that this politicking has gone on in the news and our sub I imagine either they do get removed from the podcast networks because that's what he thought he was doing through misunderstanding the technology or his team spins it and they stay online.
My point in this is that post is pure politics and thus only incites a bunch of people arguing points or stating personal opinions on religion etc, which does nothing for the sub. I locked the thread but this continues to be something the mod team should be aware of and diligent about in the future.
*Because can you even find that original hoard of Jan6th videos online today?

So it's not about us not wanting you to view these bloody podcasts, it's locked because threads like these generate reports when you can't keep your opinions entirely unrelated to datahoarding to yourselves generating petty arguments and reports.

If you want to download the fucking thing it's still on the podcast networks, the easiest to scrape being podnews.net/podcast/iauyh/episode-links which I already did and should they ACTUALLY DISAPPEAR I'll make a torrent of.

u/acdcfanbill also notes...

The files are all still out there as of this morning when I backed it up, all 70 episodes.
Just check this libsyn rss url: https://feeds.libsyn.com/404672/rss
or the apple podcast page: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/truth-be-told-with-mike-kelly-johnson/id1613637836
or the iheart page: https://www.iheart.com/podcast/263-truth-be-told-with-mike-ke-93934768/
So they have a backup to.

I am honestly shocked a reddit moderator referred to Jan 6th as a riot and not a "insurection" or "coup". I do wonder however if the thread isn't getting botted because of the title given it is still getting upvoted like crazy and in a very unusual influx of upvotes for a otherwise mostly calm sub.

Seems like people that value free and continued access to information of all kinds don't like politicians deleting shit that would make them look bad. Who would have guessed?
Seems like people who hate a politician or their side will lie about shit being deleted to make them seem shady or duplicitous, when it's widely available in multiple platforms

I'm not American and I know nothing about the guy in question, but the entire drama was made up. He deleted the podcast from his site, but it was still in every other platform that hosted it.

I didn't correctly parse the post the first time around. More relevant: It seems like moderators that moderate a sub dedicated to archiving and preserving information don't like false information. Who would have guessed?

My guess for why these jannies are being so based: The caliber of redditors on this sub are probably very different to regular redditoids, considering the fact that average redditors love consuming the latest Content and immediately erasing it from their brains when the next Content comes out of the Content Tube.

My guess is that it was nothing nefarious by deleting them. His own personal website is likely the spot where the least amount of people go to listen to the podcast and it probably costs him the most money to keep hosting it personally, so he just deleted it since it's available elsewhere.
