2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Even if Israel was able to kill 80% of Hamas fighter and 100% of it's equipment/ infrastructure, what's to say that in 15 to 20 years this generation of Palestinian youths don't become the next Hamas terrorists? Hamas has proved resourceful enough to even make rockets from water pipes and common pharmaceutical chemicals notwithstanding the smuggling.

So how is Israel not creating the terrorist of tomorrow with the actions of today?
I don’t think there’s any question that the remaining gazans are by and large already radicalized and will undoubtedly continue the cycle of radicalizing their children, and that anti Jew terror attacks will not cease even if they get rid of all of Hamas and find them new leadership.
Jews are literally the boogeyman to these people. Their childrens’ shows and cartoons show Jews as the evil villains so all children will associate “Jew” with “evil” by the time they’re toddlers. Their childrens’ version of our “Cowboys And Indians” game is called “Stab The Jew”, which goes exactly the way it sounds. I recently watched an interesting video of Israelis and Palestinians sitting down to listen to one anothers’ experiences and one Palestinian talked about how when he was a child his mother would make him go to sleep on time by saying that if he wasn’t in bed, a Jew would come to kill him. They have literally been taught their entire lives that jews are evil subhuman monsters and their purpose is to kill those monsters even if it means sacrificing the lives of themselves and their families in order to do so.
We can debate whether the Jew hatred is earned or deserved, but it doesn’t matter. The fact is it’s there and not going away any time soon. It would take generations upon generations to breed out the intense Jew hatred they’ve all been groomed into harboring. And it will only be bred out or forgotten after a substantial period of peace and stability and positive regional relations, which is unlikely to happen in our lifetime (if ever).
I don’t think Israel or any of their allies actually think anything they do right now will stop all terror attacks. In fact, they all know that even replacing their government with moderate, rational, de-radicalized, non-terroristic leaders will just lead to them rebelling against those new leaders because most of the Gazans actually seem to want direct violent action and terror more than they want peace, infrastructure, better living conditions, economic expansion, independent resources, etc.
The true end goal of all this for Israel would be Hamas being expunged, new leadership being established in Gaza, and the continued terror attack attempts just being occasional lone wolf actors rather than a huge militant terror army ran by billionaires who pour all financial aid into underground tunnels and weapons manufacturing with the sole purpose of Jew murder.
But any of that happening is unlikely because there’s just so many Hamas militants and leaders to get, and Iran will just continue funneling money to any remaining leaders so they can rebuild and recruit more militants - which won’t be hard after so many young men have watched the IDF decimate their neighborhoods and blow up their friends and family members.
It’s pretty much impossible in the current state of the region to completely get rid of terror or violence. But if they can kill off a lot of the leaders and militants, destroy their weapon stockpiles, and plunge the whole area into a state of poverty and chaos, the remaining terrorists will at least be a smaller group that’s more low-rent and disorganized (even just for a while), making them a lot easier to fight off and nip in the bud than a huge, organized, heavily armed, well-funded terror government like Hamas was prior to the war. And that would be a sufficient end goal for Israel, at least for now.

Eh, I'll cut Hamas some tactical slack as those rural areas are not tactically significant enough to build proper bases. For a guerilla force, it's much easier to store munitions and supplies close to personnel for access and PR. No one would care that a hypothetical Hamas base gets bombed, but (stupid) people do care when a hospital/school/mosque hiding munitions gets bombed.

100% unethical of course. It's why the Israelis and the US government are perfectly fine with ignoring the Geneva Conventions this time. No point in abiding by rules when the other side doesn't.
Geneva Conventions actually state that hospitals have their protection voided when used for military purpose:
IV. Discontinuance of protection of hospitals

ART. 19. — The protection to which civilian hospitals are entitled shall not cease unless they are used to commit, outside their humanitarian duties, acts harmful to the enemy. Protection may, however, cease only after due warning has been given, naming, in all appropriate cases, a reasonable time limit, and after such warning has remained unheeded.

The fact that sick or wounded members of the armed forces are nursed in these hospitals, or the presence of small arms and ammunition taken from such combatants and not yet handed to the proper service, shall not be considered to be acts harmful to the enemy.
I'm sure there's similar text regarding other kinds of civilian facilities.

Found both of these in response to a ben shapiro tweet in the replies and it's amazing how both groups are basically using the same propaganda.

Ah, so the UN believes Gaza to be "occupied territory".
well technically IDF are currently moving in and establishing an occupation
but yeah, 2007-2023 gaza was not occupied territory, it was de facto independent and mostly self governing (with some ~aid~ from international organisations)
'occupied territory' applies mainly to the west bank

Sooner or later Israel is going to blast that hospital to dust. I think Egypt being a funnel for "injured Gazans" is one of the last things Israel is checking off before turning the place into a crater. They'll probably keep giving warnings, telling them to go to Egypt for care. Once they cut off Gaza in the middle, they're going to have to say "Time's up" and blast it, unless Israel wants to go into the tunnels directly, which would be beyond retarded.

At this point the IDF should read off Article 19, and explain the steps they're taking, including Egypt opening itself to Gazan injured to Western media.

We saw what happened in the "refugee" camp when tunnels filled with explosives get destroyed. An entire neighborhood basically collapsed into a "sinkhole".

Actually how are rabbis allowing soldiers to get married before they go out to fight? Torah is very clear that after a man gets married he cannot go out to war for a year and the possibility of creating a widow which has marriage restrictions exists.

Of all the things he could've done, he chose to do nothing at all.

Do the actual British people have no idea how their government operates? Are they not aware that they can be jailed for wrongthink? Are they not aware that Muslims are fucking crazy and they have imported thousands of them? Otherwise they are fucking retarded, I feel bad for this man but at some point you gotta do something.

Either plan to leave that fucking shithole or protest against the people in charge. I just don't get how they sit there starting at the writing on the walls and get shocked when clown world comes knocking at their door.

I just hate to see inaction.

Where do you live and what do you do against injustices that you see you you day to day life?

Speaking big on the internet anyone can do, you know
