Just finished the Clum documentary. Wasn't great.
I did feel the last part with the psychadelics really showed raw Boogie though. He goes to the forest, took mushrooms, and then he starts acting like cosmic truths are being revealed to him.
Then boogie wakes up the next morning and starts talking about metaphysics.
It showed the the crux of boogie is that he will do anything to run away from reality, even escape to the forest to pop shrooms, and will say anything he thinks people want to or are expecting to hear at any given time. Like when he acted like he was being shown cosmic truths, but in the most literal way possible like god was just showing him a book called "cosmic truths" and showed him a highlighted paragraph and then he just starts talking in the most basic metaphysical grifter speak "It's all a construct, man, what even is physical reality."
