Why do top surgery scars almost always end up looking so awful? Mastectomies are the only troon surgery that should have some standard of practice by now. They have an actual medical purpose. I know multiple breast cancer survivors who had mastectomies decades ago. To be fair, I've never seen these women shirtless. is the gnarly scarring the result of hacks like Mengallagher running their practices like a fast food drive-thru or is it just a "badge of honor" for troons?

I wonder how much overlap there is between the teet yeet butchers and actual plastic surgeons doing mastectomies for women. It's an entirely different clientele between mentally ill pooners versus cis women undergoing surgery because of a disease or deformity. I can see the real plastic surgeons treating their patients with more respect and empathy. Women who get mastectomies generally don't have these surgeries because they want to. Teet yeet surgeons are just looking for an easy payout, and sloppy work doesn't matter.I've found that weird too.
Surgeons specializing in cosmetic or reconstructive stuff usually put a lot more pride in their work. I have no clue why tranny tit removals are so terrible.
I think the badge of honor theory is at least part of it, but it doesn't entirely account for it. They might just not give a fuck to do a more careful job, especially because no one's complaining.
I have an elderly male relative who had breast cancer (yes 1/10 who get breast cancer are male), who walks aroud shirtless all the time, and his teet-yeet scars look better than most pooners i've seen. Mileage may of course vary because of his sex, (he was still quite fat by our standards) but there was no nipple reconstruction or concideration how it woud look because he is an old man, but it still looks better and he looks more like a man than most pooners. You notice the lack of nipples before you notice the scars. Why do top surgery scars almost always end up looking so awful? Shit. I knew men could get breast cancer, but I had no idea that made up such a large percentage.1/10 who get breast cancer are male
It's actually more like 1%, which makes sense, since men have 1% of the breast tissue women have. Richard Roundtree had to get a double mastectomy.Shit. I knew men could get breast cancer, but I had no idea that made up such a large percentage.

This popped on my TL
Definitely a few possibilities…they never outgrew their self-harming teenager phase (or literally are still teenagers), want the scar to look as gnarly as possible bc self harm/attenshun/fetish/trans pride or some shit and purposely pick at it, and also a lot of them have low standards of hygiene and are fat/unhealthy or just too dumb to be trusted with post-surgical care. Why do top surgery scars almost always end up looking so awful? It's 50/50 surgeon and patient's fault, pooners who take photos of their crusty nipples 2 days post op instead of let them behind surgical dressing, as well as most of them don't follow the post op care properly (skip days, are lazy etc), kinda like trannies who don't follow their dilation process and then complain they lost inches. Why do top surgery scars almost always end up looking so awful? There's a YouTuber called thelegitcreep who's a professional piercer. She says one of the most frustrating things is having to rely on clients to hold up their end of the deal when it comes to after care. Either they assume they know better or just can't be bothered. If that's what it's like for a piercer, I can only imagine what it's like for a surgeon (who actually gives a damn about their patients).
Also most of them do top surgery when they are fatass which is the worst because when you're a balloon your body scar badly and you end up with NoReturn's picrel (lmao at the Mr Frog)
There are oodles of pictures online of post-mastectomy women, both single- and double-, and I've never seen one that looked as bad as these. I have also seen many pictures of post-breast reduction people, both women and men (who had gynecomastia) and NONE of them had scars like this! Why do top surgery scars almost always end up looking so awful? Not the same patient, but:Maybe she does a horrible job on purpose because deep down she hates and is disgusted by pooners, probably all of them but especially the fat ones. She seems to do super sloppy jobs on the fat ones, then posts smiling photos of her blonde, coiffed and manicured self standing next to her disfigured victims, telling them how great they look. It's like one final "fuck you" before she pushes them into the elevator with a forced smile, praying to god she never has to see or touch that digusting beast again. Then she pats herself on the back for being such a wonderful and important humanitarian, pleased with herself because she has grown as a person beyond the mean girl she was back in high school. That mean girl would have never even given these chubby, greasy, pimply, hairy, autistic weirdos the time of day. But now she is a benevolent, amazing person whoruinssaves their lives!
What a wonderfully self assured man she's got standing next to her.Not the same patient, but:
