Brianna Wu / John Walker Flynt - "Biggest Victim of Gamergate," Failed Game Developer, Failed Congressional Candidate

I'm kind of thinking Wu will release the game when she's ready to respond to the fallout with an article on the largest website that will let her write something. She wants as many eyes on her article as possible. She might sell a few extra copies due to people who like to throw money at things as a sign of support, and she'll regain enough of a spotlight for her to hopefully get her foot in the door as a writer for a site with bigger reach. It just sounds smart enough for Frank to be involved but stupid enough for Brianna to think it would work. The actual outcome would be more like 20 extra copies of the game being sold and Brianna writing a few articles for a website that's considered slightly more professional than the Mary Sue before being dropped back down.

I agree. Wu is a fucking idiot but smart enough to know she's going to get massive fallout from the game. What's the best way for her to leverage that to her advantage? Use it as a turbo boost of fuel to kickstart her journalism "career".

Same way she had the live stream and a random troll account appeared and she sat back and went "Gamergate, everyone". That was her goal all along. She wanted a troll, needed a troll to reinforce the harassment narrative.

I would imagine her and Frank have sock puppets lined up ready to go with fake threats of death and rape. Should be pretty fun to watch.
