Gonna do some minor power leveling but I’ve ridden motorcycles for around a decade and can attest that you just don’t get on one and ride. They are completely different from cars and don’t even steer the same (look up counter steering if interested).

He signed in December, but shortly after he said that is doesn't start until January. He also said he was going to start doing more post-show LOCALS streams because even though it was not required he wanted to 'get into the habit'. Hilarious in retrospective.

Correct. I think that the nosedive his superchat revenue (1-2k USD a night) took is the most damning metric he has for negotiation. I still think he will get a deal. Perhaps even for close to the same amount (~80%) and they might even drop the LOCALS aftershow and the YT switch.

Rumble does not seem to be (and cannot afford to be) the cutthroat and selective business. They are still in the phase where they need to bulk content to attract investors. If their profits have not fallen too much, I could see them writing it off as already spent money so it does not harm to keep the line item in the budget.

I'll admit, I have no idea what their planning looks like, or what kind of people they have running the business and making these decisons.
