In a recent podcast, Christina Warren didn't hide her irritation ((https://www.relay.fm/rocket/83 it's the first couple minutes). Story: Christina got a new job at Gizmodo after 7 years at Mashable. So she tells about her time at Mashable and Wu just keeps interrupting her. Especially at 2:30, when Wu tries to make a joke and it doesn't land.

She really can't stand being around women more successful than her. That's why she always has to cut them short, talk over them, or try to diminish their accomplishments. It's extra worse here because one of her "supporting actresses" is now in that position - doesn't Christina know that the podcast is supposed to be all about Wu?
EDIT: I wonder if part of the reason she gets so bothered by them is because Brianna spent her transition years convincing herself that being a man was what was holding her back. Now that she is a woman and still the same pathetic nobody she was as John, she doesn't have that excuse anymore.

I'm just kinda boggled by the funding John got. Depending on why you'd support because it ain't cuz the game looked good:

- Not a "brave transgendered person" who looked out and tried to inspire those who don't have a safety net with their transition
- Isn't some kind, grateful person who's worked hard from the bottom. They're a lazy old rich kid who starts out tweets with "Actually" and "Please." when someone (even women!) try to have a normal conversation.
SpazeCat literally could only have sustained attention right at this moment when knee jerk support of shrill phonies is widespread so everyone looks open minded. I just can't get over what a lazy, boring, entitled dick they are, STILL are. I'd be so goddamned embarrassed and ashamed if I was Wu, and it says a hell of a lot that they aren't.

Those are all good points- John is probably the most personally loathsome lolcow still active, and yet somehow manages to rake in $2000 a month in cucksbucks. There's a lot of mutual-supporting going on, so the real number may be far lower, but it's still a lot.
I imagine that it's holdovers from the SJW part of anti-GG- perhaps Wu's only smart move in this whole affair was to find a group/movement which has as one of it's basic tenets that being a truly vile individual is fine if you're vile to the right people and dress it up with buzzwords. He's got a reasonable Twitter reach and could probably have drummed up 500 cucks a couple of years back.
Even then, as the leaks showed and that airline incident demonstrated, he's just out-and-out repellent to the point where even the SJ crowd consider him a raging embarrassment. I imagine if he first appeared now rather than a few years back, his patreon would be down below $100.
