Bubba is not passing due to makeup (well, not alone), he ""passes"" because of a beauty filter cranked all the way up. It's not just making his skin blurred, it's changing his entire face. I've said this in other threads but beauty filters have vastly improved and are harder to detect, it can make it look like you are naturally pretty or that you're just using makeup, but it's ALL fake. It can even make your hair look nicer and fuller and longer, and give you fake teeth/smile that looks real.

I encourage kiwis that don't believe me to try it yourself. The app most troons use is FaceApp. Find an ugly man (or just take a selfie) and use the gender setting. This is certainly something I'm going to spend some time thinking about for awhile. I knew filters had improved, but I didn't know they had improved to this level. A lot of things about modern day social media make sense now. Influencers, passable troons, the influx of pretty people on the internet and what people have been using these filters for. It's all rather depressing. I want to go back to days of the cringy dog face filter.
