The United States is failing and nothing the average citizen can do will stop it. What we can choose to do though is to foster unity in the country by accepting that voting doesn't matter, and that the politicians we elect never act in our interests. I'll take this time to point out that since 2010 there have been multiple county and city elections decided by as few as 10 votes, even 1 vote after multiple recounts.

Saying that your vote doesn't matter is just fucking stupid.

You should be voting on City Council measures, hell, vote on the goddamn dog catcher.

The problem is delay and the fact that the court can only take on so many cases each session. A right delayed is a right denied. What’s the recourse? Noncompliance is the only legitimate option I can think of (and it is legitimate according to Jefferson and other founding fathers).

Don't forget all those god forsaken cunts on the 9th circuit that made up stunning new bullshit to keep California's Assault Weapons Ban and Standard Capacity Magazine Ban in place.
