Fascinating. Israel just proved space interception of ballistic missiles is possible in real conditions.

Now North Korea, China, Russia and Iran are going to be going hard on MORE missiles to overwhelm defenses and on maneuverable hypersonic re-entry vehicles.

There is a protest movement called "Badna Naish" ("We want to live") over the economic conditions in Gaza, but it's mostly an online thing that hasn't had any noticable IRL impact. I would imagine they just have their thugs beat up the ringleaders or something along those lines. They don't need Stalinist levels of repression because most of the population firmly supports them.

I posted here early in the thread during all the “dead babies” sperging about a family near me who lost a relative along with his baby daughter on the 7th but hadn’t had their names reported anywhere.
Looks like there’s finally been an article about them but it states the 9 month old baby was shot in her mom’s arms rather than having her throat cut which was what was initially reported by her American relatives when they posted about the incident on Facebook the day after it happened. Not sure which story is accurate or where the miscommunication occurred in either case (translation issues? fog of war? Who knows?) but wanted to provide that update with the (possible) correction.
