People don't get this. Yes MTFs are gross, loud and obnoxious. But FTMs are absolutely pooning out at higher rates these days, if you look into it. I have literal real life examples of that social contagion spreading and people insist it's not happening.

They also insist pooners are these poor abused women only doing it to escape mean 'ole hateful men, which is absolutely contrary to how pooners act and why I'm guessing the vast majority poon out.

They all do it because one of them does it. It's totally a social contagion thing like he said. As soon as Maddie becomes Mike, all of her friends see the attention and positivity she gets and follow suit because it's the same impulse as what the Mean Girls call the "Pick Me" mentality - I'm so not like the other girls, I'm not even a girl!!!

I can't remember where I saw it, but the phrase "remember kids, the N in LGBT stands for not like other girls" has never been more relevant than it is now.

There's a few factors but generally they're similar to troons in regards to stuff like porn addiction. A lot of them were the yaoi fangirls of yesteryear who decided they want to become the 'uwu soft boy'.

But the reason pooners are outpacing troons now is because historically women fall for fads way harder, especially when they come with brownie points. Instead of being Susie straight chick now you're suddenly Aidan, the 'soft bay boi'.

You joke but in my experience dealing with FTMs they come to embody all the shittiest parts of so called 'toxic masculinity'. They're very quick to anger and explode at even minor things in over the top ways. Especially if they're on Test.

I live in one of the most pozzed states in Europe. Pooners are EVERYWHERE. I haven't seen a MTF below the age of 50 in a few years at this point. Meanwhile, I've personally shared an office with at least 10 pooners in the last 3 jobs. Hell, just today I saw one in the supermarket - (wo)manlet with a high-pitched voice, balding and scraggly pube-fluff on the chin, and obviously feminine hips and tits. I've been in social circles with chicks who love to read and write gay sex fiction.
