It looks like at some point, and definitely not recently, the city cut that lower branch because it had likely grown to the point that it was hanging too low.
There is no sawdust from saws cutting things up, there are no leaves that would have been knocked off and loose in the process of breaking it all up, and ultimately, there's no debris.

So I leave it to you, detectives, to decide the the tranny was lying, or if they no longer live at this house... because it sure as shit didn't happen here.

Knowing Wu's mastery of hyperbole, I suspect that "totaled my car" was at best "a branch came down and smashed the windshield" but was more probably "Frank turned into the driveway too hard and smashed out the side mirror against the trunk of the tree."

The car also could have just been such a worthless piece of shit that even moderate body damage was sufficient to "total" it for insurance purposes.

No, Flynt's pretty much been doing that since day 1.

Disadvantaged? Back when he was at Millsaps, he got an article published about how unfair it was that the technology in use for the computer department (or math - not sure which) was so far behind the bleeding edge of modern technology. Even though it was like, 2000 and the college had upgraded the previous year to perfectly suitable and supported hardware - the first indication Flynt has no fucking idea how computer resource utilization actually works since it's a zero sum game, the LESS you use the better (as opposed to 100%-ing multi-core processors on insufficient memory).

In fairness, Flynt really shaped up - as in he used to be a fat loser but got considerably thinner with that growth spurt in height - but had a knack for somehow spinning failure to not be failure given the privilege of daddy's money had gone to his head and thus he thought he was perfect and rational in demanding only the best at all times. To have been a fly on the wall when Vista first came out for Flynt...

And as Wu, they haven't had any real success beyond playing soapbox speech victim 'expert' on goobergrape attacks on their person. They literally threw Frank's money at disposable flunkies to learn how to make Wu's game, replaced at regular intervals, so only Wu could claim to have made the game (without having really done shit under the hood) while simultaneously not wasting time actually learning how to program games. No idea why Frank subjects himself to economic, social, and probably a bunch of other abuses to that shell of a human being.

We all know the second the game goes live, people are going to come out of the woodwork and eviscerate those game files to make SFM porn of Wu's characters and the more clean minded of the lot tearing into the game mechanics itself to expose all the secrets (I.E. just how the end game code is generated because besides the weird Egyptian words used there is absolutely no consistency found in numerous playtest observations).

And if it ends up being like the crude blockbot where variable names are given biased terms like 'idiot' and 'moron' to refer to the contents, we're in for a real show.

Got a place where the photos are all stored? I could give them a look over and see if I can't figure something out. As it stands from what I recall and these pics you just posted, the white computer room all those early media pics are in (as well as the images used to prove Wu never left their house when they claimed to have done so) is the room to the left of the front door. Between the front door/foyer and the garage must be a kitchen, as recalling my architecture class from high school the optimal placement of the garage is as close to the kitchen as possible to make it easier to carry in groceries through the connective door. Behind the kitchen and garage is a living room with brick fireplace as that's the only reason for a brick chimney in that position. Dining room is behind the foyer, and behind the office/computer room is the master bedroom w/bathroom. The basement has a central staircase acessible through a door in the dining room that leads into what is effectively cavernous storage for all of Wu's broken shit, as well as the laundry machines when Frank does the wash. The second floor windows are fake and it's just a crawl space to store heat during the winter.
