The latter for sure. They’re not showing the full film on screen for extended time, their commentary is set louder than the film, there’s a filter over the footage most of the time, ect.

Yeah, I've been watching the Saw EFAPs and the original footage is so heavily watermarked and edited it's hard to make anything out. They're way out there in making sure they're covered, but Adum's work is just as much within the limits of fair use. Copyright execs should be put into Saw traps. Adum is a whiny, lazy furry, but I find copyright rent-seekers even more lazy and entitled. Let my gay furry with wet paper-towel tendons make his fucking videos.

It's funny how people believe YMS knows what he is talking about. 2 hours of lies and taking things out of context. He didn't even have previous involvement in the fandom. He just seems like a salty Lion King fan who can't come to terms with the reality of the Disney situation.....And he seems to have an obsession with Scar too. The 1989 Kimba series is worth watching btw. Much more dark. Also, there is literally a scene where Kimba's father's ghost appears to Kimba when he is down and doubting himself and gives him the type of speech Mufasa gave to Simba...I honestly really do think Disney is in the wrong. That is my gut feeling.

They lifted that scene directly from Hamlet it's pretty obvious in context. The entirety of the Lion King fits into the same general plot beats as Hamlet down to the protagonist's dead father appearing to him as a ghost and telling him to avenge his death.

TLK is a ripoff of Kimba. There is no way around it. Another bit of evidence is how in the 1989 version the scarred lion villain guilt trips Kimba and runs him out if his home. Kimba has to find the courage to return home. When he does he finds his kingdom in shambles because of the scarred lion. He has to overthrow the lion and take back his throne.

On the EFAP end, Mauler said in his livestream of the Robocop game that he's still on good terms with YMS as he doesn't like too much drama. Unless it's MovieBob, because there are limits to how much bullshit one can tolerate. Though I think this is just him being diplomatic.
