Sounds like too much time online during COVID and it created some intrusive thoughts. Many such cases. I watched some panel where the doctors said the number of trans kids exploded during Covid. 🤔

You watch media and there is a push for being bisexual as normal. I feel like any young adult series tends to have the female lead go gay for a bit. They want that door open just a little bit in peoples minds.

It's interesting though. The push for gay rights was deconstructing the notion that being straight is the only acceptable thing. Which of course had merit. Gay people exist. Then it moved onto the trans stuff. Is too far into the deconstructionist ideology. Ignores that sex is real. Focuses on gender. Folds back and comes full circle to deny being just gay is a thing.

TBH i hate the people who go "More people are coming out because its acceptable and there is no benefit from someone lying about being gay."Literally i can tell people here straight up that these young people i see online think being straight is boring and uncool.I have a cousin who literally consumes so much LGBT content and claims to be bisexual and gender fluid, yet she has never dated any girl or ever actually done anything to transition(Thank god).She literally wants the label to feel special and unique.

True. It was probably posted on here ages ago. The story of a girl starting college, being all excited but then everyone was all about pronouns and identities. Exchanging it all and she couldn't partake. Feeling really frustrated and annoyed she's just straight and can't partake in that.

While there are the men who transition and then claim to be lesbians.

Is there a version of no trans who are so indoctrinated they don't realise they are straight or gay? A dude who knows that men and women both have vaginas and penises. He's seen men and women he's been attracted to. Yet those men or woman have always been biologically female or male. Assumes it's just been who he's met that he's only ever connected with people of the same genital type.

Does that exist? Totally not self-aware.

Or are the men who are straight, claiming other things just doing the cuttlefish thing and pretending when they tell the lesbian to take the girl dick to not be a bigot.

I saw a story on Ovarit where this one woman reported that her 13 year old was getting bullied by gender special kids for being straight and cis.I dont know for certain if the story is true, but looking at how twitter crazies get outraged whenever a tv show or movie sequel confirms characters that they headcanon as gay or trans aren't makes me believe there's truth to that 13 year old story.

Ingroup - outgroup dynamics will always cause some manner of bullying.

I used to work in an office where, at least in my division, everyone but me, one other girl, and our direct manager, was gay or lesbian. Everyone.

So I and the straight girl would get teased all the time about how either 1) we were actually gay, or 2) we were straight and therefore we should fuck our higher ups for favors or some shit. It wasn't traumatic or anything, it sounds bad (and even something someone would today call sexual harassment) but it was just that kind of coworker ribbing that was acceptable some 15 years ago.

But what I learned from the experience was simply what I said before. If you're in the outgroup, whatever it may be, you'll get shit for it.
All these movements of acceptance and tolerance and anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-whatever, fail to understand this fundamental of human interactions.

So with a ton of kids catching the social contagion, the outlier will get bullied.

Oh I 100% believe it. Today you have to be some flavour of the rainbow, and white/straight just isn't part of that rainbow. Kids will label themselves autistic, ADD/ADHD, DID, trans etc all in an effort to both blend in but also stand out. They do it all the time on tiktok or instagram.
While I don't have kids of my own and both of my nieces are still too young (though the oldest is almost 8 so soon she'll suffer through this as well) but I have an acquaintance whose daughter is in the tender teenage and her mother has confided that the girl is suffering a lot thanks to current year in general - the usual girl stuff like periods and breast development is still in focus, that has never changed since I was a kid, but they've been introduced to the concept of queer, thankfully not as deeply in the tranny department, and suddenly there are girls talking about kissing girls and how boys are even yuckier than 20 years ago somehow.

I've also heard stories of kids who go completely in the opposite direction, that they a firmly straight and will not associate with genderspecials. Those tend to be boys rather than girls but the pendulum is slowly swinging back for our younger generations.

I’ve been on T for 8 months and had Top Surgery 2 months ago and I am still constantly misgendered in public. I live in the south so there’s a lot of ma’am and lady going on. It’s mentally exhausting and disheartening. I have a little bit of facial hair, no boobs, and hairy legs. Not to mention the deep voice. My wife can’t figure it out either. I don’t know, I just needed to get that out. My only guess is the fat recomp hasn’t really started yet. It sucks though.

I do when I'm packing my STP (which is probably 70% of my outings). It took me well over a year to get to this place. I had plenty of mishaps along the way. I did most of my STP practice at work in a stall, carrying an extra pair of underwear in my backpack for those mishaps. I had one mishap so bad I had to have my wife stand lookout so I could use the hand dryer on my shorts! Eventually I got the hang of it. I keep TP folded in my back pocket because my business gets pretty wet thanks to urethra placement and size of said business. The few times I opt for a stall is when the lower urinal isn't available (I'm 5'7", but I find the higher urinals don't work great for my style) or if there is no barrier between urinals and someone is already in there. We will call it stage fright! Practice is everything tho.

Why. Why would you buy a used packer. Maybe I'm a prude but I wouldn't buy a used sextoy.
