Antidepressant use gets blamed for a lot of mass shooting/ suicides/ school shootings. I know the Pharma companies that make them have been involved in lots of lawsuits thanks to families wanting to pin the blame on the pill, not the person. (In the case of some suicides and violence they have a point. When you have someone with mild typical depression suddenly commit suicide or violence within a short period of time after beginning a Rx. The black box warning exists due to these instances)

I’m no supporter of anti-depressants and thinks it’s bizarre how GP will hand them out like Candy to anyone who says they feel sad. But I also think they are handed out to people who have real deep seated mental problems as a “we don’t really know how to treat this, you have crappy insurance coverage, so here’s so Prozac. Good luck!” It makes it hard to determine if antidepressants contributed to the violence or were just one of the useless typical Pharma pit stops every mentally ill person makes on their way to going ballistic.

There's also the large amount of people who would rather choose to down pills rather than talk to a therapist, they're usually the ones who don't want to actually change for the better, but to suppress their emotions. Facing emotions is like challenge mode for them. I'm sure physiatrists love to prey on these types too.

I was curious if he might be playing a cat and mouse game. Maybe he only got 3 or 10 pages, this might not be what the authorities labeled “the manifesto” but some journal pages. But if they think he has the whole thing it behooves govt/ victims group that owns the documents them to go ahead and release the whole thing so that Crowder cannot monetize this for days or weeks and the public outage builds.

But if seems like he’s only got three or six pages they may decide to hedge their bets and just sit on all the documents, thinking the leak of a few pages is preferable to the entire manifesto or documents found in the car.

It would be interesting if Crowder got all the files, including the journals found in her bedroom, but that seems highly unlikely.

I just finished watching it. He specifically said that he has already released everything. ETA: I skimmed the video to find a clip of this statement. He doesn't directly state that he has nothing more to release. I would say that it is implied. See this post for clips.

I doubt it was sent directly to Crowder, but to someone who then contacted him. The contact here is perhaps a Crowder fan.

I think what that is is a literal taking from what was written by hand, it (hale) probably made a mistake and meant to write one thing but stopped halfway and went with something else.

From what we can see and know, this whole stupid thing was one big attempt at recreating columbine and it was the whole process, not just the shooting itself, that this bitch followed like a religious ritual. There was no exit plan, or even really any plan once she started shooting, by her own admission in the notes about basically having to play it by ear if something went wrong. It was really lucky that she didn't manage to shoot any of the cops (because she absolutely would have tried to take as many of them down as she could in a last stand situation but a bullet to the spine solved that real quick).

The journals not being the manifesto also makes sense, since one of the pages is dated a month before the shooting, so it's more likely just a diary/scratchpad she wrote in during a violent fit, or literally an hour before she decided to end innocent lives. That said, what we have still paints a picture of a disturbed mind so who even really knows what the manifesto could have been about? Could have been Winnie the Pooh x Sonic slash fiction that called for the toppling of patriarchal society for all we know.

While true, I doubt that was the motivation here. She wanted to invoke columbine - this wasn't about immortalizing herself, this was about the rush of the moment, being god of life and death, getttng revenge on the 'crackers' and killing children.

It's comparable to what I'd say is a worse case Jay Geis ("The Golden Knight") scenario, who is an impossibly even bigger loser than Aurdey ever was, since Jay straight up liked killing small animals with guns and had a very warped sense of right and wrong - namely he was always right and everybody else is always wrong.

Does anyone else think this "leaked manifesto" whiffs of a hoax? Something about it just seems off. It sounds like what I imagine a middle-aged conservative (i.e the kind of person who watches Steven Crowder) trying to sound like a "crazy far-left activist turned murderer".
