Troons don't actually want to specifically be seen as women - otherwise, all this constant BS about trying to shove in transgender people into everything wouldn't make sense since it's predominantly MtFs and the idealized version of what they claim to want is...they'd just be women. Period. The stated objective goal of their beliefs would literally erase them harder than what they claim is being done onto them and they'd just be normie girls.
What they
want is to be a special privileged class even above women themselves, they WANT to be hailed as being brave in this quest to be ugly bastards who couldn't pass worth a damn, when in reality most of them are shamelessly just in drag or otherwise are willing to go to irreversible extremes of body modification just to attain that feeling of superiority over others over something most people generally couldn't give less of a fuck about.
Same reason with 'non-binary' people - get a fucking clue people, male/female is a matter of biology that, no matter how hard you wish otherwise, is going to matter in terms of what bathroom stalls you go into and what doctors can or can't use to maybe someday have to save your life.
