I usually don't reveal things from my personal life, but I negotiated a full scholarship when I was in university. I qualified for it but they used it to recruit students. I got it anyway just by talking to them.

There are people who you can not negotiate with, depending on your position in relation to theirs. Do you think a flaming faggot caught in the act out in the middle-east can negotiate themselves out of not getting forcibly transitioned or thrown off a roof?
To negotiate you need to have something they want or that benefits them. Or at least make them think you do. If the goal of someone is your utter destruction and they value that goal above any concession or benefit you can yield unto them, your ability to negotiate is completely irrelevant.
