Next he's going to say, "of course it was always going to sell! Look at his body of work, everyone knows who he is! ACK! ACK! ACK! ACK!"
I believe Dax’s current means of attack is “Eric July is cheating Dixon out of money! No one would buy the comic if Dixon wasn’t writing it, so he should get all the money! Eric July is taking advantage of a man and taking his money!”

It’s because Eric July hired him, and Dax has a weird hateboner for Eric July. And since Nick’s been obsessed with licking Dax’s taint lately, he has to do whatever he can to make Eric July look bad while still pretending he’s not taking sides and hates drama. So he pulls the “this popular writer isn’t popular enough to sell comics based only on his name as a writer” card.
That checks out. I don't think I know who Chuck Dixon is, but being told he's a big writer on The Punisher does make me interested and I'm sure Eric July probably is pushing that angle as anyone would. It's not surprising that it's bringing in buyers to the book, well that and their ability to actually ship on time instead of ten years after the crowd funding concludes like with EVS.

Top video in the quoted comment. Apologies, couldn't quote the video.

What Nick is saying here is that he doesn't understand his social status. This is interesting as his parents have payed his way into a bunch of charity events with literal billionaires. Artists and the fashion forward are able to play with the notion of formality by pure dint of reputation. Nick is a dying streamer incapable of achieving erection. He isn't Warhol. He doesn't have a reputation worth sharing, as anyone checking on it would find failure. His best choice would be to arrive properly attired, behave well, glad hand, and, if he has a good conversation with someone, ask them if they would be interested in coming on his show. This is really basic networking.

Follow-up on the I WAS VISITED BY A KIWI FARMER Mandy:
I have to confess I was the one who visited Mandy's work, I posted about it on 4chan, please ignore the date.

And yes everybody did clap afterwards.

Is Chuck Dixon the Florida Man guy?
No that's Mike Baron, who's generally considered to be the Punisher guy. He's signed on for a different Rippaverse comic which isn't out yet.

Chuck Dixon is the most prolific comic book writer of all time (1700+ issues, 40,000 pages), but his most famous work is his expansion of the Batman universe during the 90s, creating characters like Bane and Tim Drake (the third Robin), founding teams like Birds of Prey, and definitive runs on Bat-related characters like Nightwing. Chuck was actually the first creator to be cancelled, way back in 2004 for publicly mouthing off against Marvel for reimagining their old western IPs as flamboyantly gay stereotypes. As far as his writing goes, I'd describe it as very arch, old-school and more focused on correctly adhering to principles of storytelling structure and conforming to the conventions of what a superhero story should be then necessarily interesting. It all depends if Chuck happens to be working with an interesting idea or not. An artist on the level of Joe Bennett executing the script definitely helps.

Mike Baron on the other hand is the edgy one, writing the definitive Punisher run which ushered in the whole police/military/American Sniper Punisher skull subculture which ended with Marvel actively destroying their own IP for being too based. Recent works include Thin Blue Line, a police action thrilled during the BLM riots and Private American, a sort of modern-day Captain America/Punisher hybrid who defends America by mowing down cartel traffickers on her borders. I'd describe Baron's writing as also very well paced and structured but more along the lines of 80s action thrillers, with his style leaning towards a dry wit and a love of the absurd.

Such stunning and brave gallantry coming from a KiWi FaRmEr. Thank you for your service. :semperfidelis:

2500, seems just like yesterday is was 950.
I remember only two-ish months ago it barely hit 2000. It's wild to think another 500 pages have been added since then, and more than half of that just being because of the Eric July drama.

You know, I wasn't going to buy any of the Rippaverse stuff, as I don't really read comics, but all of that sounds fun, maybe I'll pick it up and some of Mike Baron's stuff. I want to like comics, I've just never really been hooked so maybe this will be what gets me more into it as I've enjoyed some webcomics, and if it doesn't it's not exactly a big loss either.

Good or bad, at least you actually will get your product on time with Eric July's comics, it seems.

Anyway, happy 2.5k page, thread!

Nick DID say that Chuck Dixon can't make a million dollar comic book.
Nick obviously has no idea who Chuck Dixon is. The guy made some of the best Batman stories. He’s also the guy responsible for the creation of the Batman villain, Bane. As well as a well liked Robin/Batgirl, Stephanie Brown. Normies don’t know her but she’s popular with comic fans.

Chuck Dixon could sale a lot of comics, your pet pedo Vito can’t even publish one.

Edit: I’m a late retard, Bane was already pointed out.

Good fucking god, buyers of this should have a breathalyzer installed in their vehicle
Sir, buyers of this should be considered wards of the state and removed from polite society.

Nick had Chuck Dixon and some other guy on a while back. It sticks out now because they discussed Cuties and how disgusting it was. Chuck said something along the lines of "As disgusting as this is, you know the casting directors made bank on selling the audition tapes". To be clear, he said that with disgust.
Likely true and definitely enraging.

That egregiously edited photo of Nickayla is so embarrassing. Who posted it in the first place?

He should go back to page 950 of the thread and refute each and every post that is wrong and not stop until he gets all the way to the end of the thread. No matter how many days it takes. It would be epic ownage of the farms. We would NEVER recover from that. I'm sure he has enough coke and other drugs to keep going.

And if Kayla tries to stop him, he should just beat her. You know he wants to. Forcing him to have all those dam kids that wrecked her body. Making him waste his precious time with that home school nonsense. Slam that selfish cunt's head right through the wall Nicky. Imagine how good it would feel to BASH HER FUCKING BRAINS OUT. You know he want to.

Don't get me started on those DAM KIDS. Every read The Shining Nicky? It's about time you've made those kids TAKE THEIR MEDICINE!
While I lol at this, please don't give the degenerate ideas. His brains' scrambled and impulsive enough to probably act on it.
