(unless they were pro-Russian already which some were) and killed I meant the Ukrainian soldier fighting for those territories. While there is some holol/slav atrocities taken place sometime the ukraine/russia conflict hasnt been as senselessly violent as the gaza/isreal's one.
Once Ukraine is settled, Russia can just arm Syrian groups heavily with everything from cruise missiles to SAMs to rivers of drones plus satellite ISR and targeting data of course to make life on American bases in Syria hell. While smugly claiming, of course, that they are not in conflict with the Americans. And then do the same for Iraqi groups.
The Donbas war of 2014-2022 often was as senseless and violent as anything in the middle east.
And large part of that debt is from time before this shitstorm. Ukraine was unable to pay her debts in 2021 . There is no way rump state that is left after this war will pay back anything.
NATOs goal was never "world peace", it was to secure the continuity of western imperialism. Anglo dogs the lot of them. We can have world peace once NATO rots in a shallow grave.
Don't worry, the west dropped the idea that Russia will pay to rebuild a NATO-puppet Ukraine like a year or so ago. Russia will rebuild the liberated republics (indeed already is) and EU will rebuild their buffer rump state, weakening them and strengthening the yanks they'll have to borrow money from to pay for rebuilding as well as for new military equipment for the NATO puppets (which will ship in a couple years, promise, no you're not allowed to defer payment until we start actually delivering, nor to cancel orders a decade from now when the undelivered hardware is super obsolete).

They'll get it back. Nations are like women, they have long, long memories. In the coming years the west will have to make accommodations with the Russians, and when they do the question of the stolen money will come up. The Americans aren't stealing Russian state assets, they've sent a few million to Ukraine from 'oligarchs' and that's been it. It's been left to the EU to propose a significant transfer and it will likely be carried out by smaller EU nations like Belgium or Denmark who will ultimately be held liable.
