Okay Chris.
I was starting to feel somewhat bad (I knew he was laid off but he just...never found a job since? Bruh.) until he started mentioning exact numbers of how much money he was throwing at Konami. Like...why was that even necessary? He and the more vocal DDR US players have been so critical of them up to this point, how did he think consoooooming and playing on private cracked cabinets with modded timing and getting access to leaked datamined content (which he still has never addressed by the way) would make things better? More or less a niche game that has long been past its prime and Konami hardly gives two shits about now? And he only realized this after he got banned?
People are calling this a retirement letter of some sorts, but tbh I don't see this sort of coping lasting.
They've been afraid of a nuclear bomb for far too long, but these japs can't remember how soulful the 2000s really were

He's gonna come back from a month of going dark after KAC and drop a WR for Hou CSP or something whenever it actually releases. Similar to the last time he logged off and went dark.
I was only starting to feel bad because it took him THIS long to realize he's practically throwing away his life becoming the GOAT for no reason. Doesn't help with people worshipping him like a DDR God and forgiving him even though he broke a bunch of rules in the name of getting a WR. What's the point if you have no sustainable life outside of your hobby? He needs to seek actual help this time.

HO4-KETI's is tbh one the few level-headed JP responses here and probably the most the pro JP players will say about it at best (or just not say anything at all).
