Women are all into alternative medicine because that's what was "natural" for "thousands of years" with "ancient wisdom" but for some reason get all huffy about the fact that almost ever civilization in existence deemed it fit and appropriate to drastically curtail women's rights and make men responsible for their behavior? I think the ancients understood a lot "men" today don't...

It's not all pseudoscience. It's just that the pharmaceutical companies can't patent things from nature. Nobody is going to invest the millions into studying Tumeric. It's not patentable. So the entire Naturopath industry is associated in the media as being full of loonies stoned out of their mind running through the forest naked.

I know it's not all pseudoscience, but pills contain, or are supposed to contain, a known fixed amount of ONLY one or a few chemicals. The problem with herbs is sometimes the good stuff is mixed in with stuff that makes you sick or is also bad for you, or occurs in small amounts. Another problem with herbal remedies is that growing conditions can effect what chemicals the plant has or doesn't have. There's just no way to know when you buy the herbs unless you grow it yourself. That said, I agree, you'd be really surprised just how effective some herbal remedies are or what they can do.

I'm starting to wonder if Dyn is an experimental AI bot that escaped containment during training.
Abo-bot 9000, the creation of a mad scientist in his lab in the deepest billabong in Australia, to see what happens if you enable a neural network to get high on gas fumes.

If you read up on the manufacturing process of supplements you would be surprised. For example Vitamin C. What do you think it's manufactured from? Oranges? Lemons? No. Mold.

Hot take, the "shit test" is a retarded concept. Everything is a fucking "shit test" and you can't win with them. Whether you pass or not will depend on her current mood, and your pass/fail state can change perpetually.
Eh, it's just an edgy name to make the concept stick, like a lot of PUA/Manosphere stuff. She's just seeing if you'll knuckle under to her bullshit, just treat her like she's you're bratty little sister and you're usually good, for those without little sisters, don't take her seriously. It's like "Negging," which is just a handy name for playful teasing and backhanded compliments that autists mistake for insults. Subtextually, you're trying to signal she's lower status than you, if you get mad or take her emotional outbursts seriously then you're signaling you're lower than her.

I think it's called JADE (Justify, Argue, Defend, and Explain) in No More Mister Nice Guy, but sometimes DEER (Defend, Explain, Excuse, and Rationalize) is used instead, these are things that men often do in conversations that signal lower status to women. Not to other men, but again the sexes speak different languages. And yes, it's all stupid status signaling, but that's how it works.

I don't think I said anything wrong. For many things there are more strict quality control tests. I'm definitely not against all herbal remedies, nor am I saying they never work. Hell, I'm not even saying pills are better in all cases. But let's use marijuana again as an example, since everyone knows what it does, its effect is so pronounced and by type/strain they can produce a variety of compounds. There's lots of different types of marijuana strains, and some are unquestionably shit or ineffective. You don't always know what you get buying herbs, just like some weed is shit weed either because of growing conditions or strain or both.

I actually love the idea of herbs if you grow them yourself and make sure they're fertilized and have the right amount of sun. That gives you quite a bit of personal power as well, you can live off the grid or whatever. But just buying them online or elsewhere, you don't necessarily know how much of the active ingredient is there.

Anyway my point is women will love things because it's "ancient wisdom" but forego the ancient wisdom that told them to sit down and shut up.

Well Hemp would today be a major crop in the world. But the Cotton industries blocked it. Also if you want to grow your own Potatoes. It's not possible with store bought. It's treated with Chlorpropham which makes it unable to grow sprouts.

You need a 3rd party source.

You know, I didn't think this video would come in handy more than once, but it works for the current discussion

She could just go into the chemicals and heavy metals present in tap water. And why the Government Flurodates tap water despite the practice being banned in much of Europe. Then you can get into the corporations.

You can easily grow potatoes from the store, the treatment only slows it down. I don't think we disagree, I think you're just passionate about this subject and are used to people who dismiss herbs right out of hand. Trust me, I am not. I am just saying there's a time and place for pills and a time and place for herbs, both are great, truly.

Perhaps this will satisfy you: It also goes the other way sometimes, usually with drugs or stuff that can be taken as a drug but not necessarily. You look at herbs like kratom or kava kava that have a stark effect, you're far better off getting the herb than an extract that will make you addicted or contain other shit in it. Hell, just look at how much kanna is out there that is shit.

My point simply is that pills are a known concentration of a chemical, while herbs, while infinitely renewable to the individual and therefore a necessary part of the home garden, do not have a known quantity of the chemical in them most of the time and if you're not growing it yourself you don't know what you're getting.

Yeah, I can see that. I'll admit I may be just a bit jaded from my last relationship. She wanted to have a threesome, I knocked that shit down for a multitude of reasons, was thanked. Then when she broke it off she claimed she "didn't like the things we did" that were vanilla af.

Hence my "can't fucking win" comment.

No More Mister Nice Guy
Worthy of a read?

The reason is simple. Women want out a lot earlier than they indicate, but everything they do is designed to protect their reputation. They just get the ick or lose the feeling and find some way to justify it to their friends. If you go into relationships with that in the back of your mind, you can get a lot of power, especially if you know how to induce the fabeled ick and make it think it's her idea so she doesn't go batshit when you break up with her.

Sometimes that is true, the cynical part of me thinks she just wanted the threesome because she was already planning on fucking other people and wanted to use that to justify it. Kind of like if a woman wants to have an open relationship, she either wants to fuck someone else or already is. I do understand the jaded bit from personal experience, there's an old saw about how you can either love women or understand women. I think you can do both, but once you start to understand them, you can't love them all unconditionally, but you can love them individually. You just have to love them for what they are, not what we, the actual romantic sex, would like them to be.

As dumb as a lot of the RedPill community is these days, the actual good parts will always point out that it's about is not ought.

She told me she loved me. Women, they can do that. They can tell you they love you in the moment and mean it. Men, on the other hand... no, men only really love you in hindsight. When too much distance has built up.

It was pretty fucked, but it seems like a Wellness Check thread post. She ended up cheating on me w/ a guy who sexts underage girls who is in court about it. So...you know.

The issue is that the manufacturing process may introduce unintended side effects. Take GMO Wheat. They changed it so it could grow more grains per stalk. However that's around the time Wheat sensitivity started. They did an investigation and found in changing the Wheat, they made an unintended change to the chemical composition of the starch. It's now artificial starch.
