Niggers Eating Cornstarch - And any other weird nigger food related shit

I came here just to post my fufu thing, but I read the entire thread first and it’s fascinating. Since Lipstick Alley is populated by black women, I wanted to see their opinion on eating cornstarch, clay, etc. Here is their thread about it:
https://www.lipstickalley.com/threads/why-do-so-many-black-women-eat-cornstarch.3922089/
Archive of 1st page

A lot of them admit to eating starch, ice, clay, baby powder, and even baking soda, but they are aware that it’s pica and encourage each other to check their iron. Further in the thread things get really weird with women admitting that they chew rubber, toilet paper, laundry detergent, drywall, etc. Eating/licking/craving soap was brought up several times, which kind of explains the soap-flavored cornstarch. What I don’t understand is why they eat these things in the first place, you can’t really crave something you haven’t tasted. There’s a post where the writer is explaining how she would make laundry lint from exclusively white towels with specific detergents to chew on, how the fuck did she decide she wanted that?

Many women specifically say that they were treated for anemia and the cravings went away, though for some their iron is fine and it’s apparently just a habit. A few said that they started eating starch or clay because their mom or other female relatives would do it, and the habit stuck even though they aren’t anemic. Anyways, it seems pretty clear that a high percentage of black people have iron deficiencies, probably because vitamin D deficiency is linked to anemia. Black people not understanding that they need more vitamin D is an huge L for public health. I guess it’s racist to say that there is a medical downside to having darker skin, but not racist to say pale people have a higher risk of skin cancer. As though saying that black people should take vitamins is somehow more harmful than letting them suffer from easily treatable nutrient deficiencies.

I don’t want to archive all 9 pages, so I just took screenshots of the interesting stuff. It’s a lot of screenshots, but if you enjoy this thread and you don’t either go through these or read the LSA thread, you are doing yourself a disservice. I’ve been laughing so much my throat hurts.

I have said before to people that blacks more commonly have outie belly buttons and everyone called me crazy but I know I'm right.
Can confirm after growing up around blue gums in the South where it's hot asf. The males will often go shirtless and the females wear crop tops. I would say 90% of blacks have extreme outies. Like at least an inch or two sticking out. It's so gross looking and I'm not sure why it's a thing.

WHAT THE FUCK that one bitch is saying she makes laundry detergent slurpies with crushed ice and Tide™
Cornstarch is the healthiest of their strange diet options... at the end, it's close to be simply flour. Eating flour won't kill you. I already explained how you can make a dessert with just cornstarch, milk, and flavor of choice. The only thing that can make you do is to gain weight if you eat it often.

I just wanted to apologize to everyone for not providing updates on Hell's Kitchen recently.

Lately, I've been spending my Thursday evenings doing whipipo sheeeit, fishing to be exact. I'm now three and a half episodes behind but, don't worry, I hope to catch up over the weekend.

I watched half of episode four and the insane black lady who chimped out on a white woman for not cooking an egg fast enough on the previous episode presented Chef Ramsey with a pizza-inspired layered dip, with melted mozzarella cheese at the top layer and pepperoni (shout out to the enjoyers of Patrick Tomlinson's thread) as the bottom layer. This confused Chef Ramsey to the point he was offended. When I saw this, I knew I had to pause the episode and come back when it could give it my full attention.

I don't think anyone has been stabbed yet, but there was a new episode tonight so anything is possible.

I know a lot of little kids go through a phase where they eat weird shit. Paper, chapstick, chalk, I actually grew up with some people who ate all that when they were 6. Reading this thread made me remember that I used to chew a lot of ice when I was younger. I think people naturally grow out of that when they hit adolescence, if they haven't all ready stopped.

It might be a parenting issue if it's a little kid habit that's stuck around. If no one cares enough to tell the kid to knock it off, a lot of them will just keep doing it.

Will black women eating deodorant, detergent, drywall, sand, etc while pregnant cause the next big public health campaign? Probably not, because racist, but also because there does seem to be a lot of shame/secrecy about it. What the fuck though, good find

I don't doubt that if this becomes a serious enough issue and we see an influx of children having issues as a result of their mothers eating weird shit while pregnant, it'll definitely be called out
But I don't think they'll dare point out that it's mainly a black woman thing

Nah it'll just be epigenetic/generational trauma inherited from slavery/jim crow/black wall street. Like jews are trying to do with DA SHOAH

Like jews are trying to do with DA SHOAH
yknow ive been hearing less and less about the holocauster recently, i think its because the generation that lived through it is dying out and their stories are kinda getting old
i wonder why jews didnt adopt the "genetic generational trauma" angle to stretch this out for a few more centuries
maybe its because theyre too smart to realize itll work? you know how a smart person will overlook things that a dumb person might try because it makes no sense and theyre too logically orientated? jews must know you can't inherit a fear of washing your hair or unwashed chicken just through your DNA.... but they don't realize that other, dumber people don't know this and might buy it

They actually have tried in some articles here and there, doesnt seem to be taking hold, at least so far. Mostly gets laughed at. "Oy vey as a seventh generation holocaust survivor..."

TRUST THE SOIENCE, BIGOT!!!

Study of Holoucast survivors finds trauma passed on to children's genes.

Craving soap actually has a reasonable explanation. Despite all the technological advances we've made over the years, at its base soap is still essentially fatty acids and lye. We're very good at sniffing out fatty acids as they're an essential nutrient. There's a possibly apocryphal story of some missionaries who brought bars of soap to an african village and explained their purpose, expecting to create a hygiene revolution. They returned a year later to find that the villages weren't using the soap to clean, but had instead been using it as a treat, because of the fatty acids the soap contained. It was bringing them nutrition they didn't previously have. That's probably what kicked off the soap eating in these cases as well; they can unconsciously detect the fatty acids, which they likely crave due to a deficiency, and then later come to associate the textures and scents of the soap or lint with the satiation that comes from satisfying a dietary need.

Aside from obvious factors like soaps or cleaning supplies smelling good, and things like drywall or starch in their hands maybe feeling good, so the next conclusion is "well what if i put it in my mouth...." not being that far off
I imagine in many cases it's also purely 'my mom did it so I do it too' or 'I heard of people doing this in my community/online so I decided to'

I don't doubt for once second that "generational trauma" is a real concept
Of course children of people who have trauma will grow up inheriting similar stress, if the parent is constantly looking up over their shoulder for nazis or is deathly afraid of water, the kid will observe and follow suit, even if they never know why
what I DO doubt, is the fact that this is passed through the genes entirely separately from how the child is raised, and that a kid who was born to a holocaust survivor, or a survivor of the great Pool Closing event of '08, is gonna grow up to have the same trauma if they were never around their parents or grandparents to observe them

Kids pick up on a lot, you don't need to tell them about your fears, they'll feel them
If you're scared of dogs you never have to teach your kids to be scared of them too, but they'll notice the way your muscles tense or your breath hitches when a dog passes by, even if you don't run or scream of attempt to show it on the outside, and they'll subconsciously learn that "this is a dangerous situation"

Another factor this article brings up is how women who grew up during a famine, or men who smoked, have a chance to bring children with mental or physical problems, but those are all physical factors... So by that logic, is it not reasonable to assume that people who were around during the Shoah, presumably didn't eat too well or live in very good conditions, would then give birth to children who are predisposed to mental disorders as a result of bad nutrition or air pollution, as opposed to being post-traumatic stress inherited directly from a traumatic event

Speaking of which, weren't there some studied that confirmed Jewish people are more predisposed to schizophrenia or stress related disorders?
Now, I'm doubtful of psychological science like this to begin with, especially the definition of "schizophrenia" and the medical industry's habit of using it as a silencing tactic, but IF they are following their own internally consistent logic, even if that logic is externally flawed, it'd be hard to determine where these genes originated from
Jews are still one of the most secluded ethnic groups in the modern first world and they always had a habit of breeding within themselves even when living in ethnically diverse places, if there's any genes of note within this pool it's likely they're pretty widespread within that specific population

I think with the soap specifically, it’s more about the scent, at least at first. Many of the women who mentioned soap/detergent got into the habit of sniffing their favorite soap, then some of them progressed into licking and consuming it. Soaps and detergents are made to have pleasant fragrances and it isn’t that unusual for a little kid to lick their soap once and realize it doesn’t taste as nice as it smells. They also brought up a “tingly” feeling, which may be more relevant since most of these pica cravings are focused on texture, which is why these people are obsessed with flavorless things like ice and clay. Two woman that chewed rubber also specifically said they loved the smell of rubber and reacted to it as though they were smelling good food. There’s no fucking way people are chewing rubber for its nutritional value, it’s about the entire sensory experience.

I really doubt that a craving for dietary fat (which is a real thing) would become a craving for soap, since so many actual foods contain plenty of fat. Why aren’t these women just drinking oil? Why is this subconscious fat detector choosing laundry detergent over fried chicken? There’s been times that I wasn’t eating enough fat and did get cravings, but those cravings were for butter, fried foods, ice cream, etc.

I’ve actually also had the ice cravings because I was anemic. The ice form of pica is pretty common among women (who get anemia much more often than men) regardless of race, but I’ve never heard of a non-black woman eating cornstarch or baby powder. Maybe anemia + something specific to black people = eating all this weird shit.

The baking soda craving is surprisingly common, and I can’t think of any reason why. The only nutrient it has is sodium, but when people are low on sodium, they simply crave salt (I’ve had this as well*, would literally pour table salt into my hand and eat it). Baking soda doesn’t taste good, smell nice, or have a unique texture. It’s also way more dangerous than chalk, sand, cornstarch, baby powder, etc.

*I’m a chronic under-eater, thus all the nutrient deficiencies. Sorry for pl-ing, my experience with deficiencies is part of why I find this so fucking weird. That alone doesn’t explain it.

I don't doubt that. I knew a woman that when she was pregnant was working in her garden and she had this uncontrollable urge to eat some of the soil. She was mortified after she ate some. Turns out she was anemic and the soil was iron rich, she decided to take iron supplements instead of continuing to eat soil.

Why aren’t these women just drinking oil?
Reminds me of this one woman on, Tiktok, She's, I believe mixed black? But dammit even if she wasn't, it'd be too funny not to post
She has a habit of eating oils with everything. She will occasionally just chug oil straight out the bottle, like, full blown processed rape seed or sunflower seed oil, other times she will eat a spoonful of "butter" (It's never butter, always margarine, so again, more processed oil) with her ice cream or pizza. Then she will usually do a little ballfisted jig and mug the camera with a weird, almost 'smug' expression. I think she perceives it as some kinda EPIC PWN against people who tell her that shit's weird, gross and certainly unhealthy, but it just comes off as mental.

...Hell, Tiktok behavioral patterns in general, and specifically that thing they do where they make fools of themselves and act smug about it as if it's as much as two shits of a bother for other people, deserve their own thread... Let me know if one is made specifically about the Animal Planet style study of these weird bastards...

Back on topic tho, I wonder how something like that evolved, was it a result of some deficiency and craving, or just weird fatso behavior? I mean yeah, at this point it could just be for attention, but it had to have BEGUN as something legitimate
Will post videos when I'll manage to wrangle a few
