What is funny about Karlach is, if you take her to the dryad seer and she ask where does Karlach see herself in ten years, the answer being living in a small country village with a husband and a brood of kids. I did my murder hobo run with her as an origin character, which I thought would funny and ironic considering she's supposed to be one of the good guys.

Funny you should mention the wife and kids thing because if you do her origin playthrough, you get some extra dialogue for killing Gortash that would imply she and Gortash were lovers at one point. Although not explicitly stated by the game, I wonder if the whole wife and mother thing was supposed to happen with Gortash before he inevitably betrayed her.

Regardless, Minthara is still the best girl. Fuck the grove and the thiefling refugees.

Lol it’s not just regulated to middle school slapfights. I’ve worked with women in their 30s and up who still act the same way. Guy does something innocuously nice for one of them like hold a door open or compliment her clothes or whatever, she thinks he’s totally into her and starts crowing about it to her female rival coworker, who then gets pissed not only at the first girl, but is now pissed at the poor sap of a guy as well for showing the first girl any form of positive attention, despite the guy not having any kind of attraction for either girl and was just trying to do something nice he forgot about five minutes later and is now roped into this retarded catfight wondering what the hell he did.

I said Hi or Good morning as a girl came into work when I was a manager, some basic small talk. Same thing I did to all of the girls. A few months later the girls under me approached me and told me I've been sending signals to her, she was falling for me. I literally had to sit her down and tell her I was not leading her on. It is having a woman fall in love with them to the point of wanting to be his wife and have his children. It's pretty wholesome. Meanwhile for women there are four males to romance. Three of them are good men but the women seem to hone out the one manipulative, lying scumbag sociopath who (in his bad ending) turns them into his vampire spawn sex slave and they are like; "That's him! Basically, PB is stating that you see this dynamic even in games: men just want someone close, loyal, and faithful, which finding one is itself an Olympic feat, and while women can choose the good boys, they just want the charismatic sociopath character just like in real life.
