Hee hee. Works both ways. Left leaning men are also more attracted to more Right leaning women then Left leaning women. I usually don't like to get TMI but my boyfriend is a pretty Left Wing guy. He wanted to date me so bad and I finally gave into him. I was shocked as we are quite politically different. I asked him one day why he wanted to date someone so politically different than him. He laugh and said: "And what? Deal with a woman who hates my guts for the sole fact I have a penis? Deal with a woman that believes in shit like polyamory and would demand that she cheat on me whenever she wants but that I stay with her because she wants the financial security I provide? No fucking way. While you and me may be different politically I know that you will love me for being a man and stay loyal to me in my old age."
Oh, I just mislead these women about my politics until we break up, then the coup de grâce comes where I tell them just how little I actually ever agreed with them and I make fun of their ideas. I would've gotten away with little drama with my last breakup except I had to whisper that little nugget to the fat friend knowing it'd get passed on.
Don't mistake that for thinking all my relationships have that dynamic, that's certainly not true. I'm very protective of another ex of mine who is one of these stand-up women I mentioned, just... with severe issues.
Agreed, I've called it perpetual childhood many times. Their increasingly juvenile makeup, the fake freckle fad, "big titty goth gf," endless partying... Most of KF probably never dated these women so while they may know this on a semantic level, they don't know it and feel it in their bones, you know? It's more visceral for us, and there's just nuances you notice that you just can't pass on to other people. I'm sure you will agree that these people are dangerously stupid and dangerously fucked, and they tend to be the charismatic narcissists that influence other women in their groups.
