I don't know if its been mentioned, but for the last few weeks, History/Fantasy/Medieval weaponry YouTuber Chadiversity has been losing his mind on Twitter about AI art being a very complicated, very hard to master skill equivalent with actually learning to draw.
The debate about AI art and theft and validity and whatever else is best left for somewhere else, but the thing here is, he's just
so adamant that now he's an
amazing artist doing something that's
so difficult and he's such an
expert in prompting, while getting the same generic ass results as anyone would with seconds of effort.
And hundreds of people are constantly dunking on him for it, and his responses are full Tomlinson blocks of text. No, Stalker Child, it is you that is not an artist, it's not the tech and the model that improved, it is
I that improved, enjoy prison!
What makes it even better is that his brother is the pretty well known artists Jazza, whose YT channel is dedicated to teaching people how to draw, paint, 3D model, and do other kinds of art.
Here he is telling his artist brother that his good-for-a-15-year-old-on-Deviantart doodles are
professional quality, and Jazza has to kind of just nod along to stop him from melting down
