Your post unlocked an old memory for me - my first anime convention as a teenage girl. It was late at night and there was nothing to do, so we were wandering into different screening rooms just checking stuff out. We walked into one and were greeted with what would now be considered standard loli moeshit (this was the early 2000’s so it wasn’t everywhere yet). There was a young schoolgirl character on screen and she abruptly transformed into something scantily clad like a bikini idk, and my friend reacted automatically like, “ew, gross”. I responded jokingly, “Don’t worry it’s okay, she’s probably like a 900 year old demon or something.”My favorite part is when they insist it's A-okay, because the 8 year old is actually a 4000 year old vampire dragon god, who just happens to look like a literal child.
And also when they insist "IT'S JUST DRAWINGS!!!"
Fucking sickos.
Immediately - I mean immediately - a man in the row in front of us who looked like this

turned around and, I’m not shitting you, said, “Acktshully, she’s not a demon, she’s a 2000 year old goddess (or some shit) and she looks like that when she transforms because she’s unleashing her pure goddess energy—“ blah blah blah.
It was my first time witnessing that kind of creature in real life. I was stunned, prior to that I assumed it was just a meme exaggerating how nerds tend to speak. But no, they actually, exist, and they actually think these things.
20 years later ol’ Nikolas keeps that lovely stereotype alive.
Not informational enough. Here’s a more useful version:
