I'd expect it to have a lot more eccentric an orbit if that were true. Instead, it's right in the plane of the ecliptic, strongly suggesting it coalesced from the accretion disk around the Sun just like the other planets.

It would also have to have been ejected at at least 22 miles a second from Saturn and aimed perfectly to end up in the plane of the ecliptic. I suppose it could happen but it would take a huge explosion or a collision.
