Sure, but she's not ten any more -- the clip I saw of her in court, she seemed to be a young woman. A young woman who'd just won a judgement for zillions of dollars. And it's not like she's in the room. So I wouldn't necessarily be horrified by a tasteless joke about her per se.

I didn't think it was as tasteless as Frankie Boyle's joke about Katie Price's kid and that wasn't even enough to get Boyle cancelled. He joked -- on national TV -- that Price needed to marry a cage fighter because she needed a husband strong enough to stop her disabled child from raping her. (The kid was eight at the time, had autism and Prader-Willi syndrome so is severely developmentally disabled).

Jokes like that just get him referred to by the media as 'an erudite left wing satirist'.

It's really just the context -- Rekieta was DESPERATE to get his joke that sexualizes a child victim of abuse out to a legal panel -- because he might be a non-practicing lawyer, but by God he wants the world to see him like Daddy Dax -- as a non-practicing comedian.

And the fact that it wasn't funny. I'll forgive most things if the joke is actually funny.

He should send out an e-mail explaining it, but he has to decide on a mass mailing service.

- He claims that Scandinavians do not know how to be happy. They rely on outside people to tell them what opinions to have. If there is this (TOTALLY) hypothetical guy who has helped people and someone else thinks he is bad for swearing in public and looking at women, they will ostracise him for bot upholding Christian ideals.

- He brought on a LOCALS member, BooshMcfadden, (looks like a fat Riker) who is a professional chef.

- They start talking about Broadway musicals and Nick sings in his cracked voice.

- Nick talked about security at Mar-a-Lago. Nick's father wanted to go as Nick's guest, but he took his wife. They stayed at The Breakers when they were there.

- Nick wants to get back into LOCALS, but the contextual obligation makes him not want to do it. He is going to start negotiations to try get that provision removed.

- Nick raved about Insomnia with Al Pachino, but when Boosh started talking in more details, he said he only saw it once and would have to rewatch it.

- Nick spoke about his Sunday going to church, then picking people up to go to the in-laws and how tired he was all day.

- He doubled down on his gaslighting about his case. He also recounted what Spectre told him when he talked to Schneider. The reason he took the case is because he hates Nick for wearing shorts into his office and being 2 days late with discovery because his client was uncooperative. He was wearing that because he had a weekly Whiskey party with local business owners every Friday at his old office.

“nothing is off limits in comedy” does not exclude you from making a bad joke in a bad time or bad place. He could have made it work in some way. Maybe not at that time, and definitely not while giggling as he said it, but there were ways to make it work. If I had to think of it, I would when probably made statement like “clearly what she needed the payout for is to afford therapy to avoid growing up to be an Adult Baby Diaper Lover.”
Still not great, but at least it’s a joke that has the same elements without sexualizing the trauma being described as it happened. It also makes the joke less about the victim and more about how detestable adbl’s are.

When I think of bad jokes with bad timing, I really think of Gilbert Gottfried’s 9/11 joke that he told like 2 days after it happened. making a joke about 9/11 that soon wasn’t what made it a bad joke. It was a bad joke because he told it at the wrong venue. It was a roast of Hughe Hefner, roasts are mean jokes about the people there. The 9/11 joke has no context or purpose there and it was clearly just shock to shock.

Rekeita doesn’t understand how to use shock humor, and unlike Gilbert, he doesn’t have the comedic talent to bounce back from such a blunder

So in other words, Nick tried to be drunk and degen around his church people. Then he started cooming after the wives of the other guys. Nick tried to explain what the bible really says about sin and lusting after other guys wives and those fools relied on the opinions of outside people rather than what Nick said.

Then Nick talked about how much money he has and how much he can "help" other people if they agree with him. And those no-fun Scandinavian Christians didn't even go along with that. Nick also likely tried to help the wives and daughters of the people in the church by explaining how rich they could get working in porn or getting on onlyfans. Private island for everyone. But they didn't listen.

Yeah. Nobody knows "happy" like a degenerate trust fund guy with alot of money, no job and no hobbies who lays around the house drunk all day.

Another classic almost cliche later stages alcoholic story from Nick. The old reliable story of the drunk saying "You people don't know how to have fun or be happy" when people don't want to have anything to do with him.

Just have another drink Nick. Or five. It will make it all better. Better yet, go find the right kind of local bar. There are no people with greater understanding of these things than your fellow alcoholics.
